I'm finding it much easier to exercise when it's not just about looking better but  being better. I think of exercise as medicine now.

A dose every day to increase confidence and morale, reduce stress, care for my joints, increase bone density, help with hormone balance, and increase longevity and independence as I get older.

Exercise as medicine is harder to skip.

This thread is to inspire us all to include exercise in our lives.

Some of my favorite types of exercise are

-walking
-dance cardio
-pilates
-lifting weights and strength training.

If someone has issues with injuries and mobility there's chair based exercises.

just did my 40km bike ride in the forest, i feel great! Blessings sister

Pushing a double stroller with two little ones up the street and praise dance cardio have been my workouts of choice. I sleep so well because of it!

I started out viewing exercise as medicine. It was a great way to get back into it. But it's becoming my special fun time.

Good for you @TitusTwoWife. May you continue to be blessed on your journey.

Learning breathing techniques works well too.
And lots of stretching so you don't tear muscles when working out. Stretch before and after exercising.

Exercise increases oxygen flow through the body and in the bloodstream. Toxins are flushed out too.

Drink lots of water. Stay away from processed sugars and saturated fats. It all makes a ton of difference in how we feel.

Epsom salt baths are excellent . Especially after a strong workout. Then,take a cool shower,gradually letting the water go colder, and you'll flush your bloodstream and the lymph glands.

Epson salt foot spa baths are superb. Especially if your job requires lots of standing or walking.

Cleanses and fasting are a great help. Let the body rest from its intake,and purge what it needs to.

I've worked out for years in a program I gradually found to be ideal for my lifestyle.
The difference between life without focused diet and exercise and now is enough to insure I'll stay active for as long as I am able.

P.S I wanted to add, I have a mini trampoline that I use daily. Bouncing helps to flush the lymphatic systems glands. They're in the groin area and under our arms. Bounce and swing your arms. Those exercises flush toxins from the lymph.

And avoid under wire bras. They constrict the muscle and blood flow from the breast tissue so that toxins do not freely flow through the tissues so to be evacuated by the lymph glands.
