FYI: Here's a famous quote from Habakkuk:
"...the just shall live by his faith." (Habakkuk 2.4).

The whole New Testament is contained in the Old. They just didn’t have the narrative.
There is a wondrous unity to Scripture! Justification by faith - according to Hebrews 11 - is deeply rooted in the Old Testament. The whole New Testament is contained in the Old
Thanks for your quote.Habakkuk 2 3
" For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
It's to do with Israel; I don't see the church in the Old Testament. :)The narrative?
I’m still waiting for that to be revealed to me.It's to do with Israel; I don't see the church in the Old Testament. :)
Israel - earthly; church - heavenly.I’m still waiting for that to be revealed to me.
The more I read the less absolute I become. It's to do with Israel; I don't see the church in the Old Testament. :)
You mean, you're less sure about Pentecost? or what...The more I read the less absolute I become.
That’s absolutely true.Israel - earthly; church - heavenly.
Israel: existed before Pentecost; church: started at Pentecost.
It's part of the first principles of a dispensational understanding of Scripture. That’s absolutely true.
Not sure the role of Israel in eternityYou mean, you're less sure about Pentecost? or what...
Brother I value everything you post, because you don’t seem to Lord it as many do if that makes since? I read the article, Israel as the wife I understood this previously. Where I get Jambed up is he’s promised us children, the New Testament language is spiritualy rich with it. He wouldn’t have children out of wedlock. I believe it’s already been consummated and is being consummated continually now.@Waiting on him PS: I think your question about Israel and the church does revolve to some extent about the Bride of Christ /Wife of Jehovah definitions.
