I wanted to make something special for the prayer forum. When we fast we get answers to prayers more readily than when not fasting. Fasting is an important part of Christian life. I think these days many Christian denominations have ignored fasting. I was Mormon and also Catholic and both of them fast. But how many denominations actually teach Christians correctly?
I've seen a lot of people in the prayer thread over the years I've been here. And I now wonder how many of them have tried fasting along with their prayer to get answers?
I fasted on several occasions and have seen people healed. I have seen miracles and I think it may be because of the fasting that the Lord has answered some of these prayers.
The bible instructs us to fast:
Joel 2:12
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
We get answers from God when we fast, God listens to us:
Ezra 8:23
So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
