Using one scripture to fight another is poor exegesis to say the least. We must use scripture in its context.

Agreed! We need to find the harmony between seemingly contradictory passages. And we use the more explicit to interpre the more ambiguous.

I agreed with your premise that we at the Rapture are changed in the twinking of an eye, having put on immortality it is impossible that we shall figure in the last judgement except as those by whom the sheeps and the goats are judged.

We must then enquire who are these righteous sheeps who are judged favourably on account that they have administered to the needs of the brethren of Christ? even if they have ministered to only one of the least of them, perhaps they gave one who was a prophet a cup of cold water because he was a prophet and therefore must receive a reward according to the saying of the Lord.

Blessed are they who do hunger for righteousness for they shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.

... there is to be a new earth as well as a new heavens.
