I'm not sure why, but prayers that are written by me seem to not work. It seems I am being attacked again. The prayers I find online work great, but not mine. I keep having nice dreams about spending time with my sisters. I dreamt about one 8 times. I don't even know how many times she's showed up in my dreams at this point. The rest are so weird. They make me toss and turn. I kept finding myself back in my childhood room. It always looks dark and creepy and it feels like I'm being watched. Idk. I keep having to pray constantly.

I'm sorry the nights have been so unsettling. One thing I'd gently push back on: your prayers are not weaker because you wrote them yourself. God is not grading the wording. Romans 8:26 says "the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." Even a short, clumsy prayer from your own heart reaches Him.

For bedtime, I've found it helps to pray Scripture back to Him. Psalm 4:8: "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." And 2 Timothy 1:7: "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." Read one of those out loud before you turn the light off, then simply tell Him, in your own words, that you belong to Him.

Thank you. Those sound really nice and I will read them. It's nice to know that those prayers are still heard. I suck at coming jp with prayers.

Idk if you have trauma in your childhood, but usually when there's trauma, these issues occur like what you're describing.
All the rebuking and scripture quoting in the world won't make those go away if God is requiring you to face the trauma and walk through healing with Him.

I'm not saying I know for sure if trauma is at the root of the attacks you're experiencing, but there seems to be an open door. pryrw
