I have to admit that I am actually agnostic and looking for the pro argument for God. I hope not to be offensive to fellow board-members, but I am somewhat skeptic and want to see what my peers think:angel9:.

Hi, Joshua. You will find no argument from me for the Lord. The reason is because Christ Himself spoke not a word in His own defense prior to His crucifixion. I will challenge you to begin reading His words in the Bible (I know it sounds like a cliche, but it's so worth repeating!). Begin in the gospels, particularly John as he was called the disciple Jesus loved-the quiet one. Then look at scriptures like Romans Chapter 1. There is so much wealth in His Word. I have studied it for many years now and I can say that He truly grows sweeter as each day passes. I KNOW He is real and I KNOW His voice. It's as clear to me as that of anyone I have a real love relationship with. Someone once asked the great missionary Reese Howells how he recognized the voice of the Lord and his reply was, " How do you know the voice of you mom? How do you know the voice of your dad?" It's in spending time getting to know someone's thoughts that you know who they are. That's the only way you can know God-through seeing what He really thinks of you in His love letter to you. It takes time. It's a decision you will be eternally grateful for.

Welcome to the forums. However, I have no desire to debate the existence of God since it's a foregone conclusion that He is real. I see no need to try to prove something that is a fact.
