Flooding and avalanche warnings

Please pray the floods aren't too bad here or if they are, that people will keep safe and warm. It has only been raining today and looks like some roads are being blocked off already.

Also for people in the mountains to get off the mountains because there is an avalanche warning and there are probably a lot of hikers and campers up there.

Luckily, I was already prepping for two weeks, just to get ahead, but I had no idea this was coming. Groceries were picked up just yesterday and now that way is blocked off.

Proof right there, He REALLY works all things together for good

Praying for you. We sure have got a lot of rain over the last couple months. And it hasn't stopped yet. Hopefully all is well with you @FluffyYellowDuck . I stocked up on food before the snow and I'm hoping the snow clears up. It's pretty warm today and it's melting.

Especially those like my friend's brother who has no permanent address; he just parks his camper at a campground that allows unlimited stays. Those kind of campers may have no place to go. Prayers for them.

There's about a foot of water out there, and this is the elevated spot, so if this is the elevated spot, I imagine the town is destroyed. I don't know yet.

Both exits are water. If the people left to go every direction would be deeper.

Sorry to hear this Fluffy. We have the snow melted and I live near the top of a high up hill area so I don't have any chance of flooding. We have good drainage systems here. I was more worried about being snowed in and not getting food and with the cold temps last week I was worried about water and sewer damage.

It sounds like after your problem with flooding is over there will need to be some cleanup and restoration.

I'm wondering if you had recent repeating dreams that could have indicated something like that? It might be good to reflect on that to get to know how God is talking to you.

No, no flood dreams. I had an avalanche dream, but I would need a cup of coffee to think about it. That was... Way earlier this year.

I need to get the kids packed up with some bags and I better do it quickly. I don't understand how the power is on.
