For Elissa.

It maybe tomorrow

It maybe years from now

Or it maybe when I'm dead

That you find this

So take note

That people who don't want to learn from you

Are not your friends

And those who tell you they know the truth

You must run very far from

Some will tell you to only know one thing

Some will tell you to only know another

But what they don't know

Is you need to learn about everything

And the more you learn

The less confused you will become

And the more you learn

The more free you will become

This darling is the meaning and purpose

That the universe designed us for

And don't worry if there's a God

He'll bite far less than any human will.

"That the universe designed us for"

Neat poem, but how could an inanimate object have objective purposes?

I do not know you nor your daughter. But you wanted to share your ideas to your daughter with all who would read.

As a reader I interpreted hurt, wisdom, and need.

A Need to speak with Jesus, not man or a universe, let Jesus in, ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, knowledge and forgiveness, and then your heartfelt poem will change to some positive truths. That you can trust God, and some good Christian people, though none are perfect, only Christ

Learn not the ways of man but of Jesus.
