Jesus spoke in parables IMHO, mostly because He knew those with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a love of truth would be edified. But He did not want to explain to those (Pharisees, Sadducees and the Sanhedrin, as well as the citizens who were not believers) ...these, thought they "knew" but their hearts were so darkened, they would never accept Him.

All I can say to that is, most of God's written Word is simply closed off... to you. You apparently are only concerned with what your preachers tell you it says instead of you studying it for yourself. So go to, I hope you learn the difference eventually.

This commonly held idea that we have "free will", what exactly is "free will"? The freedom to choose whatever you want. Only God has free will.

Did Lord Jesus call GOD our Heavenly FATHER? Yes, I believe He did (Luke 11).

What that means, which is way beyond the understanding of idiots that practice occult mysticism and man's philosophy, is that God wants His children to view Him in comparison to the FAMILY UNIT idea which He created for us.

How then does a family work? It involves the parents and their children.

How then does a parent receive their child's love?

Does the parent bear down upon the child with commands like, "You WILL... love me! I COMMAND IT!"

NO, the parent wants their child to LOVE them using THEIR OWN FREE WILL, not forced. Otherwise it wouldn't be REAL LOVE. The child would instead just be like a robot.

GOD did not create us as robots. He gave us FREE WILL in order to make OUR OWN CHOICE to LOVE Him, or not. Without that FREE WILL, we would not be able to make that choice. He gave the angels that FREE WILL also.

The only heavenly beings that do not have FREE WILL are the 'zoon' (Greek), the four beasts described in Revelation 4 that surround God's Throne.

So the matter about Free Will is so... simple, all one need do is look at how God setup the FAMILY UNIT. Who then would attempt to CONFUSE this simple matter? Believe it or not, one of the planks of Communist theory is the destruction of the FAMILY UNIT. It should be obvious that the devil is behind that.

It's soooo much easier to just REPLY to a post instead of going off on a wild tangent.

You have my permission to believe that Jesus did NOT want everyone to understand His parables.

But, then, maybe we don't understand ANYTHING He said !!
Maybe it was just all a bad trick !!

Seems to me Jesus went to that cross so He could teach us something.....
But what do I know?
I'm only concerned with listening to those preachers of mine and I do no studying at all.
