GAIN IS GODLINESS

[1Timothy 6:5 KJV] "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself."

Saying that you are favored, and God wants you to have wealth is what this verse warns against.

Godliness to me is assuming the posoition of a child of God. Walking as God wlaks and being as God is in nature, not in essence, obviously.
