Comparing Genesis and Revelation can help you understand the stucture of the the bible the Begining and the End are complements to each other Even though written thousands of years apart in differnt languages by differnt men look at the perfection in Gods inspired Word. One needs to understand the begining to fully understand the End If you think the Old Testament doesnt matter think again Genesis and Revelation are like the head and the tail if they go together to Begin and End the Story the body of the books in the middle are equally as inspired and together make the whole of the Word and Gods entire plan from begining to End within its Holy breathed Words ............................................................... GENESIS FINDS ITS COMPLEMENT IN THE REVELATION (APOCALYPSE.)G-1. Genesis, the book of the beginning......... R-1. Revelation, the book of the end. G-2. The Earth created (1:1)............... R-2. The Earth passed away (21:1). G-3. Satan's first rebellion. ................. R-3. Satan's final rebellion (20:3, 7-10). G-4. Sun, moon, and stars for Earth's government (1:14-16). ......... R-4. Sun, moon, and stars, connected with Earth's judgment (6:13; 8:12; 16:8). G-5. Sun to govern the day (1:16). ................ R-5. No need of the sun (21:23). G-6. I have learned SOOO much in a few short weeks. SOOO much more to go though. Even rereading after prayerfully asking for His guidance and revelation brings out things I never saw before.Praise the Lord!!!Jim
