Yes. That’s one of the reasons I don’t see an un-united body - one group in heaven and one group on earth. I see the entire body with him when he returns to the earth.

I also see God as the head of Messiah.
Those before Christ ascended to build His Body were NOT made like Jesus. The nations will be judged by their works (motives) and Israel according to the revelation given to them.

Each realm in all of God`s great kingdom is destined to have righteous rulership under the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father overall.

How, that is, in what way, were they not made like Jesus?

Jesus only had a glorified body when He ascended to the Father. It was then that the Holy Spirit was sent to make us like Christ. (Rom. 8: 29 & 30)

That’s helpful. Don’t all who belong to the Messiah receive glorified bodies at the same time as Jesus is returning to the earth and bodily resurrects them (or changes those of them who are still alive as he returns, in an instant) to the life of the age to come?

Good. Now you are thinking more clearly. All purposes are fulfilled because of Jesus` sacrifice.

Those of the nations who are saved will receive bodies like Adam`s and go on the New Earth. (Rev. 21: 24)

Those who have been promised the city, the New Jerusalem will have bodies appropriate for that realm.

And those in the Body of Christ will have a glorified spiritual body like the Lord`s suitable for the highest. (I cor. 15: 44 1 John 3: 2)

That’s a conversation killer.

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:4).

Obviously connected with the gospel of kingdom which Jesus and the apostles preached.

What does a non-Jew listening to Jesus learn from the teaching contained in this verse from his sermon?

That those of Israel who are `meek` and of course who have turned to God will inherit the earth. The non Jew would be pleased that God has prepared a righteous rulership to govern the nations.

`Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.` (Deut. 32: 43)

All of the beatitudes were said to Israel. `You have heard that it was said....but I say to you....`

So if the non-Jew who hears Jesus preaching, believes him and becomes meek, then the non-Jew himself will not inherit the earth?

Time for me to get some sleep. A question for my readers to ponder: Has the Messiah himself inherited the earth?
I stumbled upon this site and thought you would like to read this , it talks about the authority structure . I have never heard it said the way he does .

Not yet! While all the promises are 'Yes' in him, Scripture says, 'He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.' The current ungodly tenants still need to be disciplined, refined, purged and possibly evicted!

Thanks. People should read the strongest arguments they can find against their position. In this article the author, a trinitarian, is a little cagey with his readers. He refers to “a deviant teaching that is almost as old as Christianity itself …”

What did you make of that? He doesn’t provide us with / identify a name for the teaching. Jewish monotheism / Judaism is thousands of years older than Christianity. So, do you think he is talking about that? If not, what do you think he is talking about?

We’ll treat it like a theological game show: Name That Deviant Teaching.

The Messiah himself is a Jewish monotheist. Who will the Messiah inherit the earth from?

You mean How will he inherit the earth?

There are many ways I can answer this but lets go with Romans 11.

Romans 11:26 “And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob.’”

This is where it will start!

Jesus comes to zion in Isaiah 59 and Paul changes this to come from Zion revealing the Lords future work in the earth.

I could say much more but this is enough.

No. I meant from whom will he inherit the earth.

Thanks. That gets me excited. Maranatha.

Hello,

In just quoting Romans 11:26 we miss the timing of when God will begin gathering Israel to Himself in Romans 11:25b.

This is how I understand it will happen: -

Romans 11;25-27: - 25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that blindness in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness (with respect to time) of the heathen Gentiles has come to its completion, 26 after which all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”

Now the phrase, “until the fullness (with respect to time) of the heathen Gentiles has come to its completion,” is a reference to the end of the 2,300 years that the Little Horn will be given armies to trample God’s Sanctuary and His earthly Hosts.

This time period began within around 70 or so years of the death of Alexandra the Great when the Little Horn began exercising his influence over the gentile nations to trample God’s Sanctuary and His earthly hosts, i.e. the nation of Israel (Danel 8:9-14) and ends when the visitation of the iniquities of the father’s upon their children and the children’s children ends at the end of the fourth age of the existence of Israel from the time of Isaac’s birth. (Exodus 20:4-6)

Daniel in the Daniel 2:44-45 statue prophecy also told us that when He would begin to establish His everlasting Kingdom with these words: -

Daniel 2:44-45: - 44 “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold — the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

The time of those Kings is when the Kings of the earth are gathered together at Armageddon to be judged, along with the heavenly hosts, Isaiah 24:21-22) for their part in the fulfilment of the Daniel 8:9-14 trampling prophecy which will also fulfil the Covenant of Peace that God has promised in Ezekiel 34:25-31: -

Ezekiel 34:25-31: - 25 "I will make a covenant of peace with them and cause evil beasts to cease from the earth; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. 26 I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe within my fertile field; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. 28 And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid. 29 I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land/on the earth, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore. 30 Thus they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people," says the Lord God.'"

31 "You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men, and I am your God," says the Lord God.

All of these things will happen at or around the end of the sixth age/start of the seventh age, in around 20 years' time, about the year 2044 AD.

Shalom
