Hebrews 6:7-9 (NASB20)
For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned. But, beloved, we are convinced of better things regarding you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we are speaking in this way.

Paul is using an analogy of God’s grace being rain, and the ground being mankind…

For God’s rain, that being in a figure God’s grace, rains down on mankind all the same, both on the evil and the good.. This same grace, this same rain, is the fertilizer for growth to the individual soul to choose what they will make, what they will use that rain, that grace, to grow themselves into… If the soul’s choice is righteousness, righteousness will be grown in that one, if evil is chosen, evil will be grown in that soul, grown and fit for destruction…

This is the salvation offered in Christ to all mankind, all being the same… This salvation that is the Christian faith, which says;

-That when Christ died on the cross I died with Him, that when Christ was raised to a new life I also was raised to a new life-…

This faith is the Christian faith, the faith that will grow a new creation, that being, according to one’s desire of faith towards it, a creation that can, and will live before, and in God…

Because God’s ways are righteous, good and perfect, and that being so far from man’s ability to understand them, faith and a belief and a hope that He is who He says He is, is all a man has… For without God’s immediate operation in one’s life, that one is left to their own devices whatever they might be… For faith looks away from its own skills, own abilities, own devices to something or in this case to one’s very Creator and Savior…

For it is two things, it is faith, the trusting of God’s love for one, and a wanting to be made a new creation, that being, a new creation created in righteousness, by righteousness, for righteousness, man’s part being the wanting of it, and God’s part being the bringing forth of it… For only God can make one sinless, the wanting of it is man’s part, the wanting to be made perfect… Then as this growing is entered into, the heart sees that this righteousness, this sinlessness can only be had according to the desire of the heart turned towards it…

As Christian’s, those that are His, the pitfall is, that being, the preventer of the growing of Christ in one, is the falling back into the trusting of one’s own devices, skills, wisdom, knowledge, that being, the very capable things one’s very self can do, not the using of them, but the trusting of them, rather then falling into the arms of God and a resting into faith and a trusting in Him….

For man’s self-life has skills, has talents, has abilities, it is trusting these skills, talents, abilities in the things of God… For when the questions, doubts, fears, the storms of the mind come, falling back and trusting one’s own skills and devices rather then falling into trusting in one’s death in Christ and trusting the new life that has been born in one…. This faith that reaches out towards the new life, is the faith that reaches out after the Christ in one to see one through…

For the truth is, and the strength of this fact is, that God alone is good, and if one would be good, one must have the operation of God in the life in real time… Which only the faith of the heart has access to, for the growing of the new birth into a plant fit for the Master’s use…

To the growing of the new creation…
