There is no account of baby Jesus speaking recorded in the Bible.
“God, having spoken many times and in many ways in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last times spoken unto us by his Son, … .”
This is a great question. When did “these last times” begin?
Your understanding of Jesus and the logos seems clearly lacking much substance, as scripture is not like mathematics where you can readily equate one side of an equation to the other side with the sign of equality. There is more work to done in scripture to understand who is Jesus and what is the logos. And reading Jesus back into the Old Testament, is never a good idea. And you have just done that, seemingly at your convenience, or at your level of understanding, at the expense of the truth. And that should also be a real concern for you.Let’s take a closer look to try and better explain this, let's start in Genesis, because that's where the one who became known as Jesus can be seen first. (Gen. 1: 1) It said that; "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." But (John 1: 1-3,-10, 14) states" in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. (v.2) The same was in the beginning with God. (v. 3) All things were made by him; (the Word) and without him was not any thing made that was made. (v.10) He was in the world and the world was made by him.
We all know that one of Jesus many names is the Word of God. (Rev. 19:13) So who created the world, was it God? Was it the Word (Jesus)? Yes! They are one in the same (v.14) And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father,) full of grace and truth. Yes the WORD that was in the beginning with God, was God and was made flesh and dwelt among man. That's why Jesus said give me the glory I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS, that was in the beginning. (John 17: 5)
Let's move on to (Ex. 3:13-14) And Moses said unto God Behold when I come unto the children of Israel and shall say unto them. The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you: and they shall say unto me, what is his name? What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel I am hath sent me unto you. Now Moses asked a direct question and God gave him a direct answer that's very clear.Your understanding of Jesus and the logos seems clearly lacking much substance, as scripture is not like mathematics where you can readily equate one side of an equation to the other side with the sign of equality. There is more work to done in scripture to understand who is Jesus and what is the logos. And reading Jesus back into the Old Testament, is never a good idea. What did you explain in your post? The first paragraph has no explanation of the two main subjects at all. And using a bandwagon psychological measure as a tool in an attempt to stifle objection, to say 'we all know,' to equate Jesus to the first original Genesis, will not work either.
There's a lot of sorting out to be done here from what I read.
Expanding on your first paragraph as a real closer look, with more specificity and less vagueness would make for a better discussion; I would think.
God has spoken to us in the last days through his Son. This sentence should reflect the contents of your first paragraph that defines what is the word attributed to whom, and who is Jesus that uses this same word in these last days.
Just saying...
