John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
If you think the understanding of God is not that important then you have not understood good and evil.
Have you not had the moments of exuberant joy one moment, and then felt like you were at war with all of hell, all in the same day or maybe moments apart.
Feelings are wonderful part of our salvation experience, but this world was created by God to bring forth sons.
Granted sons by being born again, but using this world to teach and train His most beloved.
The world can be a tricky place to live, we know we are not of this world but still would like to fit in.
So the next time you feel like you are losing your mind, it is a good time to tell your Father "it's ok, I know you are teaching me what it means to be a son."
As you grow in grace and knowledge you begin to understand that whatever your Father is teaching you does not stop because you get a little uncomfortable.
As babes we can kick and scream and it seemed to help.
Not as a maturing son/dauther it does not work like that.
You will have to learn who you are to be able to move on in your understanding.
You can get as spiritual as you like, it will not help.
Many give up, ship wrecked Paul said at this point, but a believer that understands pure deliverance knows they are free so the Father can to train and teach them how the family operates. That is the spirit of adoption, learning the family ways and how to operate in life.
You see; you were not adopted as some suppose, you were birthed by your Father, but know nothing about the family spirit or how to express the new life you were given.
He does not give the devil charge over you to train you, He is quite capable of being your Father. If you are in hell now, that is the good news of the gospel.
Satan may have an influence here and there, but your Father does the teaching, He does not turn Satan loose on you, it may feel like it at times but that is no more than what religion has to say about this world.
Hence the schoolhouse takes its place as a Tudor. The teachers in the schoolhouse know exactly what the Father wants because He designed it for His children.
Crude analogie is the Rockefeller family.
The children; the heirs, when born into the family, knew nothing about one of the richest institutions ever to exsist in our time.
They are placed under Tudors and Governors until father Rockefeller sees they are ready to handle family business.
He does not turn them loose with Billions of dollars until they can be trusted to operate the family business, Gal 4:1-2
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
So if you want to be spiritual translate that into what your Father is doing and learn the family ways, it's traits if you will.
