He said man's days would be 120 years. The Greek word here translated years means cycles.. Man's days shall be 120 cycles. Following the chronology from the book this statement from God was made on a jubilee year. A Jubilee occurs every 50 years, after the 50th year the cycle begins again. Man's days are 120 cycles, 120 X 50 =6000.
What exactly are you saying here. Are you saying the end is near, and we should stock up on beans and soup.

Personally I believe the end is very near, however, the exact time is hard to ascertain. The only way we can do that is to connect the Biblical calender with our modern calender. Most try to do that via the crucifixion, however we don't know exactly how accurate that is. I do believe the date of the crucifixion is pretty accurate, but we don't know how certain. But, I will say, I'm watching for the signs of the times. I don't think there is reason to stock up on beans though, I think God will provide for His people.

Here we are approaching the passover. I wounder if this will mark the end of US support for Israel when they reject the nuclear agreement that has been hashed out with Iran.

I think we really overplay the ability to know whats going to happen probably because we have never figured out how to do it. The closest we have gotten is predicting behavior.

The historical trends are telling. What is the probability that significant events for the Jewish people would occur as in post 13 during these times as opposed to other times? Pretty slim by my reasoning. The more improbible the coincidence, the more likely God is involved. I'm 80% sure something is going to happen, what it is who can say.

I am not discounting Bible prophecy. I am just saying knowing the ending of a story when you are outside the storys timeline is just expected
