It is Communist Russia and Red China which support... Iran's terrorist activities and nuclear program that are the main threat.

As far as protecting Israel, that is a Christian duty, even though the majority of Jews there still reject Lord Jesus Christ. Yet anyone who can read The Bible, can learn from Apostle Paul in Romans 11 about their spiritual blindness away from The Gospel which God put upon them during this world so The Gospel would go to the Gentiles, AND... that God is going to remove their blindness once the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. And then Paul said ALL ISRAEL shall be saved, for God will not go back on His having chosen them Paul said. Thus judge nothing before the time, because if God puts the spirit of blindness upon someone, it means they are not yet accountable. Only once their blindness is removed, and then they make their own choice, can they be held accountable. It will be this way also for many non-believers, and also for many 'deceived' Christian brethren which God has also blinded about the coming false-Messiah who will play Lord Jesus.

But the 'false' Jews of the "synagogue of Satan", they are not born of the seed of Israel, and truly will be under Christ's rod of iron at His coming. I don't expect many of these crept in foreign pagans who claim to be Jews will convert to Jesus, but will choose to perish if they can't be their own god. In 1 Kings 11, when God split old Israel into two separate kingdoms, He promised He would always leave one tribe at Jerusalem for David's and Jerusalem's sake. That would be the tribe of Judah, the Jews. THAT... is why the Christian west has always been involved in trying to protect Jerusalem, even during the Crusades when many Muslims, Christians, and Jews all lived together there in peace. It was radical Islam that started attacking Christian pilgrims on the way to Jerusalem, and is still the jihad that is going on today against Christians and Jews. There is but one way to test and see if this one hundred thousand actually do follow after and actually do

Thus it is impossible... per God's Word, to try and prevent Christ's Church's direct association with God's Israel.

The Gentiles were grafted into the Vine, which started with Israel. Branches were broken off. But according Rom. 11, where Paul makes a clear distinction between Jews and Gentiles); Israel ( a remnant population of Jews, will be grafted into that Vine. Jesus is the Vine.

John MacArthur explains Eph. 2:11-22:

"We saw in the first ten verses of chapter 2 that God brings people into the body through salvation. And then we begin in verse 11 to see that once we’re in the body we’re one with each other. And this great concept of unity is being taught here. We are one.
Now, practically speaking, we don’t always act like it. We don’t always live it, and the church today is fragmented and fractured and split and disintegrated and so forth. We know that. But that is not the outworking of our position. That is an adulteration of our position. Our position is one of oneness. We are one. And that is the message of verses 11 to 22. And Paul particularly focuses on the concept of the Jew and the Gentile, because that was divisive point in his particular world. And he is saying there that Jew and Gentile, verse 15 at the end, have become one new man.
There is one body, verse 16 says. We have been reconciled into one body. Verse 14, “God has broken down the thing that separated us, the middle wall of partition.” Verse 16, “The system of commandments and ordinances, the Jewish ceremonies have done away with in Christ.” And so, all of the barriers between Jew and Gentile are done away that the church would be one new man made up of Jew and Gentile."

The Church title is not Israel, it is the Body of Christ. God is NOT done with Israel ... you know - the Jews.

Please read Romans 11. A 1/3 remnant of the Jews is Israel spoken of in this chapter. They will be enlightened during the Great Tribulation and be grafted into the VINE.

To think the Church is Israel is Replacement Theology and wrong! God started with the chosen nation. Christ is not Israel. Therefore the Body of Christ is not Israel.

Per 1 Kings 11:31-36 God promised there would always be "one tribe" left at Jerusalem. So we know the seed of Israel is still there. And prophecy in the Old Testament prophets about the captivity of the "house of Judah" shows the majority of Jews chose to remain in Babylon after their captivity period was over, and then were later scattered through the countries. So I believe most Jews of the seed of Israel were scattered like the ten tribes were, and are mostly among the ten tribes. Apostle James is pointing to them also in his James 1:1 salutation. And I know several Jews personally that attend Protestant Christian Churches not associated with JW or SDA.
