Romans 12:2 (NASB)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
“so you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
The will of God, we are told, is that which is the good, acceptable and perfect. This is true for all things, circumstances and situations. There is a good, acceptable and perfect solution to all predicaments we find ourselves in. There is a “right” choice. It is this right choice, we are told that is to be our goal and if I may use the word our “heritage.” For this is to be our end result. Not only to be able to discern what is the good, acceptable and perfect, but also for the purpose of walking in it. This walking, in this good, acceptable and perfect is a moment by moment walking. In the small as well as the large. This walking towards God in all the good, acceptable and perfect solutions to all the predicaments we find ourselves in, is that that brings the blessings of God, the joy of God, the peace of God into our hearts, souls, lives. Where our hearts find such a rest in the knowledge that we are pleasing to God. Not that we are perfect or we have arrived, but we are living up to that standard to which we have obtained, and in that, is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God at this particular moment of time in our lives. For God waits to be welcomed to work in our lives, but can only work in the good, acceptable and perfect. So therefore because He can only work in the good, acceptable and perfect we have been invited to walk where He can work. For God is love and He loves us with a never ending love and waits to show forth that love in our lives but can only do that in the good, acceptable and perfect.
That our hearts would cry out for the good, acceptable and perfect in all we do, say, think, dream, hope, desire. So God might have the ground for which He needs to bless.
Blessings,
