Dear Friend Stranger. All you have to do is simply examine what I have experienced in the Church and view other comments made here by those who have also been hurt by the Church. Experiences speak loudest of all. I am not trying to discourage people from the Christian faith, but to make them think about their faith and how they treat others. I still consider myself a Christian, but a DC. See my blog for my definition of this. I'm just so hurt by the way I've been treated. And when I say "I'm afraid," it's not bull. My feelings are real, thankyouverymuch. I do not "fake" my feelings-- no one does. I am here by choice, although I'm not totally sure why. I'm merely hoping for love, compassion and understanding, whatever faith I choose. Obviously, I won't be getting any from you of these from you, Stranger. You are the type of hurtful people I am trying to avoid. How unfortunate. Or, merely read my comments with an open mind, my dear. But don't worry-- I'm a "Stranger," too! And yeah, I'm pretty "strange!" :) On a side note, I'm about to post an interesting article I just found from The Exchange called "When Those Who Wander Aren't Lost" on my blog here.
