As I still believe and said before in other words, that the Hamas Gaza government never had the means, the money, the training, the methods, of a surprise, of this type of concealment, of pulling off such a large and sustained attack of any kind without major assistance from either some other regional friends of by Israel, yes the State and govt of Israel.
Read this excerpt from a recent NPR interview that seems to side with my thoughts concerning this so-called war.

And I want to ask you that question because you are the author of the book "A High Price: The Triumphs And Failures Of Israel Counterterrorism." So this was obviously coming under the category of failure, massive failure. How do you think this might have happened?
BYMAN: This is a question that I think commissions and press investigations are going to be trying to answer for months and even years to come. And I want to confess, I did not think Hamas was capable of such a large-scale, sophisticated operation before it happened. So I can't point fingers without pointing one at myself. But there are multiple possible failures here. The biggest one is simply a failure of collection, that Hamas was able to hide the training, the import of large numbers of rockets and missiles into Gaza, the development of new tactics like using gliders and really just a mass-scale operation under the noses of Israeli intelligence.
And Israel has put a lot of effort into knowing what is going on within Hamas and within Gaza in general and using a wide range of intelligence systems to do so. So that basic collection problem seems to have been missing. And add to it a failure of defensive measures where there do not seem to have been enough military and police forces near Gaza for contingencies such as what happened in case intelligence fails. And this is something that I also believe is linked to the broader policies Israel pursued in Gaza, where the Netanyahu government seemed to think that the very limited economic incentives it was giving Hamas in terms of work permits into Israel, that this was a way of keeping Hamas satisfied, of keeping Palestinians satisfied and that because of their improved economic situation, as limited as it was, that they would not consider a large-scale attack.

I hope you have been asking yourself the same types of questions as I and these gentlemen. You have to if you live in this fallen world as and especially as a believer.
These are reasonable and very logical questions that should trump any emotion outcry for say the head of a Palestinian or the destruction of the entire Gaza strip.
I still think the US-Israel intel apparatus was working overtime in ensuring this so-called war would happen....and blame it on the Palestinian peasants

Again, just Jew hating speculations.
If there was a shred of truth to what you were saying, Hamas would be denying involvement and Iman’s from all other the world would:
- Condemn the 5,000 missiles fired against Israel.
- Affirm Israel’s right to exist.
- Demand Palestinians immediately leave Israel and Gaza and head to Jordan in accordance with the Cease Fire of WWI - for their own safety and peace in the area.

You are also considered a Jew if you live in the land of Judea

You are also a Jew if you convert to Judaism like many celebrities do.
There are also black Jews of Ethiopia (falashi) from the union of king Solomon and queen Sheba.

Do you know the history of the Balfour Declaration? After the defeat of the Ottoman Califate, Briton controlled the Middle East, and drew the bounderies we see today. Originally all of Isreal and Jordan (called Transjordan) were given to the Jews for a land, but then it was reduced to the small part they have now.
The Arabs got the lion's share, and the Jews got Palestine. The other nations didn't seem to have a problem with their declarations of statehood, just Isreal. Do you know this history?

While anti-Israel activists join the evil using children as a cover to condemn Israel fighting to survive against an enemy that wants to erase them from the face of the earth.
If Hamas cared about their children they wouldn't train them to be martyrs as soon as they were old enough to hold a weapon.

Zechariah 14:5
(5) And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, and all the saints with You.
Those living in Jerusalem when Jesus comes in power and glory will be the same people-group who lived there, who fled the earthquate during Uzziah's reign.

Simply stated, there are many who claim that the Jews in Israel today are counterfeit, not actually genetically Jews, related to those in Jesus' day, for instance. Fake Jews.
What's at stake is what you alluded to, whether or not those living there are God's Chosen. I believe they are. We can see the hate displayed by those who believe they are not.
Zechariah, the last three chapters, express pretty plainly to me that the Jews in Jerusalem at the end of the age are the same ethnically as those in Jesus' time, and before.
