Out of curiosity I did an Ai search.
"New Zealand's name comes from the Dutch province of Zeeland ("Sea-land"), named by Dutch explorers after sighting the islands in 1642, with the name later Anglicized by James Cook; its Māori name is Aotearoa, meaning "Land of the Long White Cloud," which is now widely used alongside "New Zealand".
