I am only 14
Which means both physically mentally and spiritually I'm sure I have a lot of growing to do

But I'm truly at a loss religiously
A couple years ago I was very religious
Now I only belive in God because of logic
About 3 years ago I started struggling with sin and God went quiet I have since cried and prayed every prayer
Silence
I feel pulled back to that spiritual relationship though which is why I still try to call out even after 3 years of doing everything I can think to communicate with God

So,whats the purpose wise guys? Why is God done with me

Okay; you're young. I don't know why you're going through this; it's just something you're going to have to trust God and struggle your way through it.

I've heard others here testify that they've gone through similar situations, but when it was over and they could look at it in the rear-view mirror, they could see what God was doing to help them grow up. If they're still here, I'll let them give their testimony and hopefully encourage you.

Puberty can hit hard and lead the body as a slave.....it takes maturity to overcome that slavery....and it will only come if you sincerely want to change your attitude, which will bring you back to God if you had a real connection to him before. How did God communicate with you before, that he doesn’t any more?

What makes you think he is done with you?

What was the spiritual relationship you had with God back then? Was it child-like? Since you are only 14, you admit that you have a lot of growing up to do......so why not use that time to set yourself some goals?

Try reading the Bible...a couple of chapters every day. Pause every so often to digest what you have read and take in all that the words are telling you. Paint a picture in your mind and add to it as you read.

My recommendation would be to start with Genesis to get a solid background of what God created, and why he put us mortals here in paradise on earth in the beginning.
What went wrong and why did it happen?
What does Genesis tell us about human life up to the flood of Noah’s day?
Genesis takes us up to the story of Joseph, who was sold by his brothers into slavery, but pretending to their father that he had been killed by a wild animal.

After the background of Genesis, try reading the Gospels and see what you can glean about the life of Jesus.....an amazing story all by itself. Who was he and why did God send him? What is his role as redeemer? Why did he have to be born as a human child?

If you have questions ask them....there will always be someone here who has the answers....they may conflict, but if logic is working, it will all be one story, with one author, who never contradicts himself.

God is never done with anyone, until they are done with him....you don’t sound like you are done.

What do your parents think....are you on the same page as they are?

I know this is a possibility, but It really sucks to just have to sit here and feel like I'm wasting time while I wait for an event I'm unsure will happen

I don't think God has given up on me.
This may be my human inability to understand God's plan talking, but it feels like I'm supposed to figure something out or do something, some prayer or going to church more or something which even in my head sounds irrational but after all this time it seems to be the only remaining option.
I've tried, hard to get close to God in the past 3 years
It has not been constant and at times I've seriously considered giving up
But I prayed and read the Bible every day
for months and still,nothing
I feel like I need to find God,but it's like hea hiding and won't tell me why or if he was ever there to begin with.

Also my parents both claim to be religious but aren't people I would ever talk about religion with because my father doesn't communicate with God in any way and my mother is misinformed by the internet

It's time for you to start a long term project to gather insight and understanding of all you can glean from the Bible, step-by-step.

2Ti 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

No, doesn’t give up on anyone, until they give up on him….it’s good you haven’t done that.
This may be my human inability to understand God's plan talking, but it feels like I'm supposed to figure something out or do something, some prayer or going to church more or something which even in my head sounds irrational but after all this time it seems to be the only remaining option.
Well, the option I would take is a Bible study…not just Bible reading, but a decent dig into the Scriptures to see what they are telling all of us….it is God’s instruction manual after all. Without the Bible we would know nothing about God or his purpose in creating us.

In his word he tells why he put us humans here on this lovingly prepared earth, and he told us what he wanted us to do here…..can you tell me what you think that was?

If you are not getting answers then perhaps you are not asking the right people…?
But I prayed and read the Bible every day

We have the assurance that if we seek God, we will find him, but we have to “keep on seeking” and not give up.
When you read the Bible, do you really understand what you are reading?
When you pray, are you repeating words that are not your own heartfelt expressions?
If you look at the Lord’s Prayer in Matt 6:9-13, what do the words just before it tell you?
Jesus said….(Vs 6-9)
“But when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you. 7 When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nations do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. 8 So do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need even before you ask him.

9 “You must pray, then, this way:”….

What do you notice there? Jesus wasn’t giving us a prayer to repeat endlessly…he was giving us a model for our own prayers, so that we would know what to pray for in order of priority. He said “pray this way”….NOT “pray this prayer“.
Prayer is not something that should come from our head by rote, but from our heart like a conversation with our best friend. Have you told him how you feel and how much you would like to get to know him? He wants to get to know you….and the very fact that this is your own initiative, without your parents encouragement, speaks volumes about you.

Also my parents both claim to be religious but aren't people I would ever talk about religion with because my father doesn't communicate with God in any way and my mother is misinformed by the internet
The internet can be a blessing or a curse depending on who you listen to…..there are good influences and bad ones….it’s a bit of a jungle, but since we live in a world ruled by the devil (1 John 5:19) we have to ask God to guide our hearts so that his truth will look like a brilliant diamond and not just a pile of broken glass.

Sites like this can provide information and even though you are young, you can read what people say and ask God to direct you to HIS truth….the one contained in his word.

The story it tells is not overly complicated, so if you break it down to its basic parts, we can see what God planned for us in the beginning….what went wrong, and who orchestrated that….then see what God did to give us back what we lost….we can then see why Jesus came as our Redeemer….someone who came to die, so that we can live. He died instead of us. But how come we still die, you might ask?

This is where we need the Bible to answer those questions. I bet you have a bunch of them….I know I did at your age, but the church I was raised in was not big on answers, just on performance.
God does not want mindless performers…he wants those in his Kingdom who want to follow his instructions, as he always has our best interests at heart. We have to get to know him, (John 17:3) and the more we know him (not just about him)….the more we will love and respect him for who he is….what he has done…..and what he promises to do in the future….
What has this world got to offer anyone? God has something so much better in store. (Rev 21:2-4)

“Ask and you will receive”….be patient and start digging. Ask questions and see how the answers sit with you….
AJ.

Then be busy doing the things you're supposed to be doing while you wait. See Luke 12:35-36. (What, you didn't know I give homework assignments?)

And don't worry about the dry spells. They're normal. Okay?

Wishing you well @ElytBlank, God never leaves us. But he may not always speak to us.

I must ask first if you have been baptized, confirmed with the Holy Spirit and given the bread and wine of the new testament. That is important in discernment of spirits. As God is the Holy Spirit, without darkness, white and holy without blemish, full of peace, grace, love and also joy in his creations. He decides what fruits he provides if that is part of his communication with us. There is the Father, Jesus the Christ who is the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They have various ways they communicate with us.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Beware of false spirits whom often attempt at any means to draw us away from God. We follow God thru the teachings of his Son Jesus the Christ. Which is the wonderful work of the New Testament.

If God communicated with you, and also left for a while, that is of no consequence that I can see. God is always watching over us and protecting us from harm and evil. He is well aware of our needs. He does not always communicate with us.

There are some ways to invite the holy spirit into our lives more often. Simply being idle is not one of them, unless God has message for us. The ways to invite the Holy Spirit into our lives is thru service of God and his children here in earth. He often uses the Holy Spirit and other God direction to deliver us into his good works. Hopefully you have a good church to attend. Here are some basic ideas:

Baptism, Confirmation for the Hole Ghost & Sacrament
Honoring God
Obeying the Commandments
Praying
Reading Scriptures
Attending a Church
Serving Others in Charity
Proclaiming the Gospel
Etc...

God isn't done with you.

Paul taught us to pray constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). It's like having a conversation with the Lord all day long, every day. Don't demand that he talk to you. He'll talk to you when he has something to say. Have some patience.
