Has your self righteousness caused you too look down upon the lost?
Have you forgotten the wretch you once were, and if not by God's grace you would still be damned to hell? Wake up , humble yourself and repent of your arrogance before you become as pompous as a Pharisee. Unbelievers need your love and the Gospel, not your judgement.

Titus 3:3
At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived
and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures.
We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.

Colossians 3:7
You used to walk in these ways,
in the life you once lived.

1 Timothy 1:15
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance:
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-
-of whom I am the worst.

1 Corinthians 5:12
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

John 7:24
Stop judging by mere appearances,
and make a right judgment."

Matthew 9:12
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick

John 3:17
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

The "lost" have become the folk heros of modern christianity and the "love" most often offered to them is devoid of truth...it is truth that sets people free and many modern christians wouldn't dare say some of things Jesus said to the lost. The "Pharisees" have become a one size fits all reference to anyone that stands outside of modern christianity with its liberal vewis on just about everything....the Pharisees were self rightous and obsessed with the law but Jesus said that unless you rightousness excceded theirs you would not enter heaven so they were doing something right....their sin was believing they were better than others because of their religious observance and pedigree but to their credit they were not out doing some of the things the other "lost" were doing.

Judging no,discerning truth from a lie ,yes....modern christianity has decided that all references to truth apart from the love of God falls under judging...indeed the synonym for descernment in modern christianity is judging. The synonyms offered by Webster's,a superior authority on the lanquage, include perception, insight, acumen and one of the most perverted and distorted of all words....discrimination....modern christianity calls people to be guilable and stupid accepting anything.

The bible tells us to be careful and watchful of where we go and who we call friends...modern christianity tells us to go anywhere,do anything with anybody all under the guise of "winning" the lost with little or no thought to the jepordy we place ours souls in when we lack discerment and rush in like fools not to mention the poor witnesss...the bible says come out from among them....people should be drawn to us by our seperation, not inclusion.

Modern Christianity tells us we must offer an alternative to everything the world offers, the world has rock,we have "christian rock"the world has movies we have "christian movies" the world has pseudo intellectual authors of books pushing personal philosophies......yep,we got that to......bottom line is balance to everything and telling people about the whole God we serve and not just what they want to hear about him.

Grace is the means that Jesus died and was resurrected to provide us with in order for us to overcome sin, the devil and the world just as Jesus did.
