Ouch! Who needs snow at this time of year, eh? We had it very warm today, too. Supposed to stay warm for quite a while. If anything, we might get rain on the weekend.Hello Lilac,
We got up to 29 today, but are expecting snow on Friday..

Thanks! It is quite a ways for Oklahoma, but not really that far. I was never his fan, but I always liked that song but not as much as this one... My mother used to hear this writer of this song Woodie Guthrie on the radio when she lived in Oklahoma a young girl.... I remember her singing it while she worked in our kitchen.. I have CD of his music and that song, but I could not call it up hereDon't know how far you are from Muskokie, but here you are. I like Merle.
Merle is more my husband's jam than mine. lol :)Don't know how far you are from Muskokie, but here you are. I like Merle.
My husband was listening to this guy the other day and I asked him if he's still kickin'. Hubby's response was funny... "with all the drinking and smoking who knows what, he probably has himself so well preserved, he could take longer to die a natural death!" LOL!No reason I'm posting this other than I like it. The man's a hopeless romantic...I wonder why I like him so much?
