Why is this only in the Bible, and not documented anywhere else in history? Was this true? Did Herod after doing this not have any reports on it? Did he threaten the people to drive fear into them, and got rid of any evidence at that time and it was scrapped from history except for what Matthew addressed happened? Did it? Sometimes the Reader must decide for themselves.

Did you even know that before?

Something to consider with the Bible is the audience and the time, there are surely written histories on Herod aren’t there? Just not this specific section of time which is recorded by Matthew.

Well, from recollection of what I have been taught, Herod's action around the time that Christ was born was to cover up his killing of a son who was under the age of two years old. The getting of permission to kill his son is recorded in the annuals of history. It just requires the dots to be connected. The record shows that shortly after the mothers in Bethlehem wailed for their slaughtered young children, Herod died around six days later.

There are a number of OT references to the events in Bethlehem around the time of Christ's birth. There were a number of prophecies that needed to be fulfilled with one of those prophecies being that the Christ would come up out of the Land of Egypt but this little gem is not recorded anywhere else than in the Scriptures.

There is no such thing as Christian anything in the worldly perspective. It’s just a title. It’s understood that people have abortions. Heard one time of a person on the radio admitting she has an abortion before she came to the Lord Jesus Christ. A good thing to remember is that sin has been paid for and taken care of for all people! And from the darkness we can enter into the light, by the cross, through death, burial, and resurrection with Christ in us, and move onward from that old man.

Oh, I see.
No repentance, no being "born again", just like that.
Sounds like what I hear in a lot of churches today.
Jesus loves you, end of story.

Yes I agree "Christian" means not much.
Sounds "harsh"?
OK, maybe that is needed to be heard these days.

It has nothing to do with repentance. It’s either a yes, Jesus did pay for the sins of everyone or not. If he did, then everyone is a clean slate, but not everyone is spiritually alive. There are people who walk around spiritually dead, even though their sins have been taken care of.

That still doesn’t explain whether or not Jesus paid for the sins of the people who don’t accept it or not.

Either Jesus did pay for all, or he only paid for some.

It’s because of my faith of Jesus having already come and get the bride.

If a person dies was their sins paid for?
If Jesus paid for their sins then yes. They were given a choice though, to have relationship with God who speaks to all people daily.

That choice was to believe and incorporate Yahavah into their life. Yahavah, has made it so sins of people are not counted against them. They are given an offer to join into the Kingdom.

Because of this, it is said that people are not forgiven of one type of sin, and that sin is to deny God.

There are many Christians who sin, openly, in ignorance. They have yet to move their measure of faith closer to God, and while they have faith and pray, and to overcome their old man.

There are many Christians who have a false faith, and see themselves as though are holier than everyone else and look down and judge people and hold on to the traditions of man.

There are people who, just deny God and desire nothing to do with him.

All people will be resurrected. There are two resurrections, one resurrection of condemnation, and one resurrection of life, and a third (which is better than the normal.)

With all sins paid for. And all people born into the world with a clean slate. While God talks to everyone daily. And is constantly calling and their sins are paid for. The only sin that separates a person from God is; faithlessness.

The commit all types of evil, or even good. However they are looking to other things besides God himself, or even his son.

With all this, Jesus has also taken care of death, hell, even Satan, the false prophet and the beast, and with sin paid for. Gods wrath being poured out on the nation of Israel for their own sins of killing the Son of God.

All people are saved from their own sins they commit in this life (except the unforgivable one), death, hell, and Satan on behalf of the Lord God Almighty, making peace with the world (while evil - ) being reconciled back to mankind, and thus by the spirit and the bride he continues to call to all.

This is not a license to sin, but to continue to be transformed into the image of Christ, by the spirit of Christ within a believer. Building up spiritual treasures rather than treasures here on earth.

However an unbeliever is not saved to the Kingdom of God. Believers are, however for the unbeliever Jesus has made it possible for all to be reconciled to God and from hell, Satan, death, sin for his victory.

No one can take away this victory except man trying to take it what’s given away. Many do not realize it is the unbelief, and that is why many people remain the same and there is seemingly no change, no matter if you share the word with them or not.

So has Jesus made salvation a done deal for mankind? Yes. Do all people have deliverance from their old man? No. Why? Because of faithlessness. Are all people saved to the kingdom of God? No. Why? Because of the unbelief.
