I suppose there is some merit to knowing who we are talking to from miles away, can make it more personal and since, we are all in the same family, it don't get more personal than that! Lol. But then, it is a preference and, the business of the person choosing to divulge or not. That said...don't you find that after awhile, you can kind of guess a persons age by their 'vernacular'? I also find it pretty easy to figure out the guys from the dolls...lol. I knew from moment one that 4HizGlory was a woman just from how she writes :)
