How is your weather?

We're getting a mixture of rain and snow this week. It seems a little strange as we are nearing the end of Feb. We usually just get snow around Dec. 25th for the past few years. But this year has been troublesome.

I know other people have it worse.

My car is coated with ice. My lawns are an ice rink, the streets are slow going (at least the side streets) The ice is really bending my lilac tree and my Rose of Sharon bushes Between this ice storm and the two record breaking snowstorms we had, I fear they might not come back as well this summer.

More blessed rain (AND SNOW) in Southern California. It’s really wonderful to see our lakes and reservoirs filling up again despite corrupt water managers who just want to open the floodgates and flush most of the precious precipitation out to sea.

We’ve received more than 4’ of snow at our cabin and the lake level had already rise. 3’ prior to this latest storm.

It’s so cold in San Diego, I’m jetting off to Cabo for some sunshine!

The way this world in general is headed the COMING OF KING JESUS is on the way . HE WILL COME BACK FOR HIS CHURCH .
NOW LET all that has breath praise n thank the glorious Lord . That is a day the lambs look foreward too indeed .
Now lift those hands and let the LORD be praised . The Rose of sharon bushes may or may not come back
BUT THE KING SURELY WILL .

The News and Observer said Snerd the Groundhog saw his shadow February 2nd. Nonsense. No way we're having six more weeks of winter. Besides, it was raining all day that day.

I would love to have some 80's today. It got down to 20's this morning. I went out for walks, it was cold but so far all is well here. I think I need to duck a snowball from Nancy too. They really got it rough over there.

They keep telling us to expect 'the beast from the east' bringing snow storms to part of our country but it's feels like spring is very near just now, we've had some lovely sunshine and last night's clear skies were beautiful with a crescent moon and Venus and Jupiter doing their thing in a velvet dark blue sky just before it wen't completely dark. And then more stars - Orion and the Plough and others I don't know. I haven't seen so many stars for ages, the sky was very clear and they were beautiful.

After several years of drought, we've been getting a lot of snow. It wouldn't seem like a lot to people in some places, but for us it's been quite a bit. Had to drive through (and shovel) more snow this morning.
