I do . The story was taught in school when I went there, along time ago.
I'm not sure it is still being taught.
That love of freedom and devotion is still alive and well in the US military. I think it is the reason the US military is still the best fighting force in the world to day.
A common battle cry in the 2nd world war was. " Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition "
