Have you completely lost your mind?

Isaiah 22:20-22, “‘At that time I will summon my servant Eliakim, son of Hilkiah. I will put your robe on him, tie your belt around him, and transfer your authority to him. He will become a protector of the residents of Jerusalem and of the people of Judah. I will place the key to the house of David on his shoulder. When he opens the door, no one can close it; when he closes the door, no one can open it."

Are you actually distorting God's words to mean that Eliakim, son of Hilkiah is actually Peter?

Matthew 16:22-23, "So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: “God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!” But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.

To say that Jesus gave Peter and his successors the keys of jurisdictional authority from Christ is a complete distortion of Scripture! He called Peter "Satan" and said that He was "a stumbling block" to Him. Why? "because you [Peter] are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s." This man, whom Jesus called Satan and said he was a stumbling block who set man's interests above God's, has the keys of jurisdictional authority from Christ?

You are believing a lie and distorting the truth of what God's word clearly says to promote a false religion. You are setting set man's interests -- Roman Catholicism -- above God's. May God have mercy on your soul!

He had not received power yet, Jn 20:21-23

yet he did receive the revealed truth from the father!

this was the first council of the church of the apostles!

With the first papal decree! Matt 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

notice the separation of the priests and the people!
Matt 16:13 who do men say that I am? Matt 16:15 who do you say that I am!

the prime minister always hold the keys of jurisdictional authority under the king but over the ministers

Why does Jesus change Simon’s name?

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. I believe what the Bible clearly says, not unScriptural Catholic doctrine.

a free gift must still be used and applied to your life in prayer and the practice virtues.

We receive salvation as a gift from God. It is His gift to us; you can't earn it by baptism or any other ritual. Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.

who had this faith?

Still says baptism in eph 2

Romans 5:1-2, "Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory."

refers to the redemption

BTW, we are dead to the law but alive to God in Christ. Romans 7:4, "So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God."

we are subject to the law of Christ
The law of love

  1. Works?

Do you really think the commandments of God are not included in salvation?

deut. 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart

    Paul says no!

1 cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1 cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

if salvation was by “faith alone” then the greatest would be faith!

    Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

    works are virtues!
    Faith, hope, charity etc.
    prayer, fasting, alms etc.

    John 14:15
If ye love me, keep mycommandments.

This Catholic propaganda and clear, deliberate misinterpretation of God's word doesn't even merit a reply. However, I'm compelled to respond to one statement...

"without the outward action [water baptism] the inward action cannot take place" is a total lie!

What Bible do you read

Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

The above is not a good advert for looking to your church for truth

i don’t have a church!

only Christ has authority to found a church Matt 16:18 to teach all men Matt 28:19 without error Jn 29:21-23 Jn 16:13

One true church for the salvation of all men Jn 10:16

There is and can only be one true:

God
Christ
Savior
Mediator
Religion
New Covenant
Church / body of Christ
Authority of apostles
Gospel
Vineyard
Kingdom
House of God
Household of faith
Baptism
Redemption
Justification
Sanctification
Salvation

The Ark of Salvation!

The church is founded by Christ and the sacraments are instituted by Christ for the salvation of all men!

The church and Jesus are one: acts 9:4 Jn 15:1-5 eph 5:32

The church and the sacraments are necessary for and the means of salvation and the life of grace!

Redemption: Eph 2
Justification: Mk 16:16 Jn 3:5 Acts 2:38
Sanctification: Jn 1:16 Jn 10:10 Jn 15:5
Salvation: Matt 24:13 Rom 13:11

The body of Christ:
1 Corinthians 12:27

The one true church:
Matt 16:18 Jn 10:16

The household of faith:
Gal 6:10

The house of God:
1 Tim 3:15

The church of the living God:
1 Tim 3:15

The kingdom of God on earth:
Dan 2:44 Matt 6:33 Matt 16:18 Matt 12:28 Mk 1:15 Jn 3:3-5 Acts 8:12 1 Cor 4:20 Col 4:11 1 Thes 2:12 Rev 1:9 12:10

The new and eternal covenant:
The one fold of Christ:

The new covenant body of Christ church is an ark, the ark of Peter, the ark of Noah was a type, all those outside the ark died, and all those outside the church die spiritually, there is no life outside of Noah’s ark and there is no spiritual life or salvation outside of the church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles!

1 Pet 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark all died and outside the church there is no salvation!)

God breathed life into Adam, gen 2:7 and we received this life from our fathers!

Christ breathed on the apostles our spiritual fathers, we receive the new covenant life of God’s grace from them thru faith & baptism! Jn 20:21-23 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38

Christian ritual of baptism:
Immersion, sprinkling, pour pure water over the forehead three time with the words, I baptize thee in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit! Ez 36:25-27 Mk 16:16 Matt 28:19 Acts 2:38-39 Acts 8:36-38 Acts 22:16
1 Pet 3:21

Proper intention: to make a new creature in Christ, to put on Christ, initiation into the new covenant of grace
Matter: pure water
Form: the words

Born again! Born from above!

'The Father has set his seal' on Christ (John 6:27) and also seals us in him (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:23, 4:30). Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of the anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Baptism,

Baptism indeed is the seal of eternal life." 87 The faithful Christian who has "kept the seal" until the end, remaining faithful to the demands of his Baptism, will be able to depart this life "marked with the sign of faith," 88 with his baptismal faith, in expectation of the blessed vision of God - the consummation of faith - and in the hope of resurrection.

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by baptism!

Ez 36:25 I (God) shall sprinkle you with pure water, and you shall be white as snow!

Jn 1:5-5 abide in Him, apart from Him you can do nothing.

God provides for everything:
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

He is the way we must follow!
He is the truth we must believe!
He is the life, life of grace thru the sacraments of the church in which we must live!

Abide in Christ and His church with grace and life provided by God thru the sacraments!

Sacramental life: Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. Jn 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Baptism: (initiation into the covenant)
Mk 16:16 Jn 3:5
1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The Eucharist: (holy communion)
Mt 26:26-39 Jn 6:51-58 1 Cor 11:23-25

Confession of sins:
Jn 20:23

Confirmation
Mt 17:27 Lk 22:32 acts 8:14-17
acts 14:22

Marriage:
Matt 19:4-6

Holy orders: (priesthood)
Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru His priesthood in Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 10:1-8 Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13
Jn 20:21-22 acts 1:17 acts 6:4 acts 8:26
2 Cor 5:18 1 Tim 4:14 Eph 2:20

Extreme unction: (anointing with oil)
1 Tim 4:14 James 5:14

The one, holy, catholic, (universal) and apostolic church founded by Jesus Christ on Peter and the apostles!

The promise (sacred oath or sacrament) of the father acts 2:38-39 with reference to ez 36:25-27

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Ez 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Hebrews 8:6
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Based on Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

A promise is a sacred oath or sacrament!
Baptismal regeneration is the promise of the Father for union in the new covenant!

The church and the seven sacraments are necessary for salvation

Better covenant on better promises or an oath of sacramental life of grace!

Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Jn 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Matt 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

works are virtues!
Faith, hope, charity etc.
prayer, fasting, alms etc.

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep mycommandments.

"So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God." Romans 7:4

I know that your Catholic priests have put you back under their (invented) law, but it is clearly unScriptural. If you are in Christ, you are no longer under the law!

What Bible do you read

Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

I read several Bibles (not that you're really interested). My favorite translation is the NET, followed by the NIV and the NRSV. I read an older translation once in a while: the 1599 Geneva Bible. (It's an excellent source to understand the theology of the time.)

Since you're clearly not aware, Jesus, during His life on Earth, was a Galilean carpenter who spoke Aramaic, the common language of the people. He didn't speak in any language resembling the pompous-sounding early 17th Century Englyshe. So all your quotes are distortions of the way that He communicated.

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee..." and "And now why tarriest thou" are bizarre wording. Now wonder you're so confused about what the Bible says. You're wrong about baptism and other issues; you confuse your pseudo-holiness emotion for the truth.

You don't have a church? Then why all the unScriptural babbling? (in olde Englyshe)

Matt 16:15 who do you say that I am!

you wrote...

"this was the first council of the church of the apostles!"

and

"With the first papal decree! "

I thought that you said that you don't have a church. This sounds like Catholic babbling to me.

i don’t have a church!

only Christ has authority to found a church Matt 16:18 to teach all men Matt 28:19 without error Jn 29:21-23 Jn 16:13

"So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God." Romans 7:4

I know that your Catholic priests have put you back under their (invented) law, but it is clearly unScriptural. If you are in Christ, you are no longer under the law!

the commandments including Deut 6:5 are the eternal moral law!

the law had three parts
Eternal moral still in effect
Jurisdictional given to the church in the person of Peter and the apostles
And the ceremonial law which is fulfilled and nailed to the cross!

I dont think they realise, that Paul's continued statements such as Rom 7:4 dying to the law/righteousness of obeying the law/works of the law, were primarily because of the Ten Commandments/with them in mind

our spiritual mother obtains grace for us to keep the commandments!
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep mycommandments.

You just don't understand Paul's message do you. Your church has let you down. You have no righteousness of obeying the ten commandments

grace don’t do it for us but empowers us to be holy and righteous

2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace issufficient for thee: for my strength ismade perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

theefaith's mind is clearly controlled by Satan and/or the Catholic denomination. I'm certain that, given the chance, he would burn you, me, and others for our "heresies". His Catholic denomination has done that time and time again, but they will answer to God for their many, many sins, including capital murder.
