Reader,

How to spot a Heretic?

Well, here is the thing reader..

Sometimes a person who is religious but lost is a heretic.
Sometimes someone who is born again for 70 yrs is a heretic., and they are going to preach from the PULPIT next Saturday or Sunday, again.

How do you spot a heretic?

A.) The most defining situation regarding a heretic (Paul's term) that you have to learn to recognize instantly..... is always discovered by looking carefully at what they BELIEVE. = Saves them, and Keeps them saved.

Now , Use this spiritual filter that Paul gave you in Galatians , to SEE THEM and HEAR THEM on Forums, on TV, and in the Pulpit and in Commentaries and on Youtube and on Internet sites.

AA.) """Fallen from Grace.""""

Reader, God's Grace is THE Cross of Christ ....where God met You and your FAITH with eternal forgiveness,= by putting your sins on Jesus and by Imputing or charging to you, Christ's Righteousness... and that is NOT Water Baptism.

See, The Cross, is where God provides HIS requirment to Save YOU, forever.... and that is NOT Water Baptism.

Now see that word : FOREVER ?????????????????????????

That is the KEY of Keys, when understanding and determining if a Chrisitan is a Heretic.......as they will not accept, and they will LOUDLY refuse to believe that Jesus who saved them := Keeps them saved.

They will sound like this........

"Yes, i KNOW that Jesus SAVED ME......but now i have to ...... I have to.. I have to.....do this, and this and confess this, and be careful and not do that, or that, or ........any of the SELF EFFORT WORKS i have on my LIST that i am trying to keep to try to keep myself saved".

See that?
That is every Christian Heretic....will be "fallen from Grace"......and that is how they sound.

They do not believe that Jesus the Etermal SAVIOR.. "keeps them saved"... and they will not accept it, and will always loudly proclaim their lack of faith.

So.........Learn to HEAR THEM, as that is their "FRUIT".

Final Answer: When you dont believe that Jesus always keeps you saved, you are "Fallen from .. GRACE"

Here is one way to spot a heretic. It's someone who denies this truth:

Mt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

There is plenty of heresy out there.

But what's wrong with admitting "Lord Jesus I messed up here, please forgive me"? Is not asking for forgiveness part of the Lord's prayer?

Matthew 6:9-13 NLT

9 Pray like this:

Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today the food we need,
12 and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
13 And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.

Water Baptism didnt die on The Cross for your sin.
Place no faith in it, as if you do then you are not Trusting in Christ, you are trusting in WATER.... @shepherdsword .

Also, when you try to replace The Cross of Christ, by teaching that water baptism is Salvation, then you have not only ignored The Cross, you have Offended it, as well.
This is blasphemy.

The Cult of Mary, is a Cross Offending religious system, that teaches its deceived that "water baptism" is required for Salvation, and this is why they never talk about Jesus's Cross, where HE DIED to Save them..... They can only talk about water, water, water, (and Mary)... as the Catholic Church is a "water cult", and the "cult of Mary".

What sin did Jesus not forgive, with His Blood and Death, that is still saving sinners, 100 yrs from now, even tho the Cross of Christ was 2000 yrs ago. ????????

Look.....

"Jesus is the ONE TIME....ETERNAL Sacrifice for sin".........and that means that His Sacrifice has Eternally forgiven, a BELIEVER, who is born again.

Salvation is not part time, its ETERNAL.

So, its fine if you want to tell God that you are sorry for some carnal deed you chose to do.....but IF you BELIEVE that you are keeping yourself saved by confessing sin....... then you are trusting in "confessing sin".. to keep you saved, instead of Trusting in the SAVIOR to keep you saved.

This is just plain silly. I am not trusting in "water". That is something in your vain imagination. I trust in Jesus Christ and am born of His Spirit.

This is blasphemy.
I am not "replacing the cross" I see now why you fail to understand the scriptures. You read your own imaginations into whatever is said.

Once again, you show your utter lack of understanding. I am not RCC nor do I belong to any cult of Mary. I am a born again believer that has been baptized by the Holy Spirit. Now...deal with the scriptures I posted and stop reacting like a triggered child:

Mt 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. My Thread stated that The Cross of Christ is God's Salvation.

You have not agreed......you instead came to the forum members with your WATER Baptism, cult theology........and you'll do it again, @shepherdsword

Im glad you are here, as my Thread is designed to expose people like you so that the members who are wanting to understand what my Thread is explaining.....can see THEM.....and HEAR THEM..
So, you are useful.
Believe it.

You can be water baptized 23OO times, and die and go to hell, today.

Why?

Because Water can't wash away your sin.......its just WATER.

So, your SIN has to be Eternally forgiven, and that takes THE BLOOD Covenant... which is the Blood Atonement, that is The Cross of Christ.. @shepherdsword .

You are just plain silly or totally deluded. I never mentioned water baptism. I am washed in the blood of Jesus.

Heresy can be subtle and I think sometimes we may not even realize we're doing it. For example, you suggested we should ask Jesus for forgiveness in prayer and then quoted Jesus' only teaching about prayer that explicitly directed his disciples to pray only to the Father. So technically your suggestion to pray to Jesus may be considered heresy provided there are no explicit instructions to pray to Jesus in the Bible.

I think we have all been guilty of getting ahead of ourselves, not paying attention, and saying something that may not be true. We are fallible and limited. I will be the first to admit that I am certainly by no means perfect, however I do wholly agree with praying confessions when I miss the mark and asking for forgiveness (to the Father) when or if I realized I have messed up.

I just think it's a good idea to just sit down some day and take inventory of of all of the things we believe. Write or type them all down and find where the Bible says to believe such things.
