Good message by Rev. Chris Wickland. He's with the Confessing Anglican Church which is evangelical.

What's evangelical mean to you?
It would mean Bible believing, sharing the good news of Jesus. I mention Rev Wickland is evangelical because some people see his clerical collar and often jump to conclusions that he is a Catholic.

Even when I explained to a couple of people (elsewhere), his denomination is evangelical, they don't seem to accept him. Which I consider sad because Jesus taught us to love one another as He has loved us.

Thank you for this encouragement, Debp. Feeling empty does not mean God has stepped away. Staying close to Him in prayer, Scripture, and quiet trust refills what weariness drains. Keep going one day at a time, and lean on fellow believers along the way.

Thank you for sharing this, Debp. The title alone speaks to a lot of us. Running on empty is real, and it is easy to think the answer is to just push harder. But Scripture keeps pointing us back to the source. Isaiah 40:29 says, "He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength." And Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Empty is not the end of the story. It is often the place where we finally stop leaning on ourselves and let Him fill us again. Praying that anyone reading this who feels drained finds real rest in Him today.

Oh my gosh…he knows it’s a place! I will try to find more by him. Thank you for posting this. I’m not sure at what depth he has been but…thats a very good sermon.

In his youth, Rev Wickland was a practicing witch. He also had a near death experience I understand.
