How to Train Your Reticular Activating System

One can be conscious and yet unaware, not seeing what is before their own eyes. One can be aware while yet unconscious, roused from sleep by an unfamiliar bump in the night. This is the reticular activating system, a structure seated in the brain stem upon which our conscience rests.

It connects the awareness of truth or falsehood to the consciousness, the soul, the mind, will, and emotions. It's sting can instigate violence, but it's burn can bring about confession leading unto salvation.

In death, it is a gateway to hell, erupting it's foul contents from inside and out through the mouth; how a man is thus defiled. But upon sanctification by the atoning sacrifice and eternal resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, it becomes the gate through which the Shepherd enters.

No longer will shame and regret torment the sanctified. It becomes the fountain of truth, pouring forth His satisfaction forever more. It is His hand by which He nourishes and hydrates us. It is trained by stretching your awareness. Bring it to fruition and He will pluck what is ready and sweet. Then He will plant and tend and grow again. It is the most beautiful plan.

But our time runs low! The End draws near, as evidenced by so many Biblical signs and metaphors coming to fruition it takes but the basest of observations to begin establishing patterns. Thus we must act quickly, and to put the goal most concisely, the RAS is trained by seeking the Truth with Honesty.

Note the capitalization of Truth and Honesty. What might this infer in the hands of the trained author? Clearly it is intentional. With the light of Truth, you would readily connect these as titles of His Majesty. I tell you there is meaning in everything but you cannot see this until you accept that everything is meaningless without Him.

Seek the Meaning of the Word!

Look them up, find out what He means by every word when He makes these glorious statements and wonderful promises and amazing records of history! How else could you expect to recognize His voice when He so obviously desires His obscurity?

This is the truth! He saves! He saves today! He saves every day! The end draws near and the rapture is still available to you now! Study! Learn! Grow! Develop! Expand! Seek! Dig!

Brother, I am glad to hear these words resonate with you!

It is not my strength! It is not my passion! I take credit for nothing!

God has just blessed my socks off! He has been so amazing to me, and told me so much about Himself that I can't help but live continually effusive, emphatic, and euphoric!

Do you know why Jesus drew such crowds despite His curious riddles and parables? Because He was always so HAPPY! He was laughing to Himself all the time, and just joyful and giddy constantly! He was ELATED to be alive! Like He made me to be!

The things He has told me of eternity, the future He has for me, and all these other wonderful things are what He meant by eating and drinking Him. He is nourishment from within! Instead of a constant stream of negativity and sinful compulsion, my innermost being flows with Truth, Love, Joy, Peace, and all manner of wonderful sensation.

He is the Pearl of Great Price my friends! He is real and so very worth researching His every Word to understand! The Bible can train your mind to perceive Him! Just seek the Meaning of the Word!

I dug and dug and dug unto Certainty, ready to throw my life and future away forever if I was not able to know my Creator. I had the sensation I was digging, seeking desperately to cure this deep and profound pain that clung to me.

But I read His word, and His ways and promises all sounded so glorious! So wonderful and ideal! And so mysterious! I had to know every word to understand what He was offering.

Just learn, and when you learn, try to be certain. If you can't be, throw it away and dig deeper until you are as certain as tomorrows sunrise, because Jesus Christ is the definition of Certainty. All of His promises are not only true, they are fulfilled!

Brother, thank you for your compliment. This is not a prophecy, but a deep shock from the heart, the mystery of the word of God.

As you say, keep digging deep into his words, finally get close to the truth of his words, see the authority in his words, his rules, his law, But the most important thing is the meaning of life, when you are one with his words, you can see more clearly what he predicted, How unsearchable is his profound wisdom! Who has been his counsellor?

So we see that the RAS is effectively a physical manifestation of our contact with the Almighty. What is the conscience but a Higher Authority declaring our wrongdoing from within?

There it is! The secret is that those in Rapturous Joy for all eternity chose this declaration over their own at every opportunity. Especially when great shame was inevitable, confession was a greater satisfaction than the sensation that punishment was averted, because it is not!

Unless we simply admit our shame. What is so bad about being a fallen human that we must deny it is so among our brothers as if to save our own faces? We cannot! Only by exposing ourselves openly, embracing the fullness of shame and declaring right back to the Master,

"Lord! I take all that is from Your hand! I reject nothing of Your correction! I have nothing and am nothing without You and desire nothing and no one else!"

But incantation is of falsehood, it is words of power devoid of the Spirit. This is why these words must be declared, but declared in Spirit and in Truth! What does this mean, though?

Spirit and Truth are the same. Seek the Essence, the Foundation, the Source, the Origin, the Start, the Finish, seek every possible meaning of the words! You must know the meaning of your own words if you ever hope to know the meanings of His!

Why do you think the Israelites had so many rituals, festivals, and rules? It was for the meaning of them! Our God is Intent, Purpose, and Fulfillment! We have access to the fullness of His instructions for the dead in numerous translations! We have libraries and resources and connections and information and archives and data and EVERYTHING IN OUR HANDS.

This is difficult because I attempt to construct a practical guide to the expansion of awareness and perception as taught to me by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, that is, the Way, the Truth, and the Life overflowing.

So I shall begin with a simple start because what it comes down to is active thought and contemplation. You need to exercise this ability because it is used extensively in the pursuit of truth and the analysis of perceptions. Somewhere to start for those with limited experience in this capacity would be in imagining what is impossible to fully grasp conceptually.

That is, consider life everlasting or contemplate infinite cookies (and what either of these really looks like), think of how high you can possibly count, the longest string of numbers you can recall with consistency and accuracy, and truly look about your environment for any details you can retain, access, and make use of by way of connection with other ideas.

In practical application of active love, this would be demonstrated by constant consideration of all accessible variables pertaining to the well being of the object of affection. In other words, loving means looking out for who you love. How do we do so better? Always ask yourself how you can do better.

So in pursuit of expanding consciousness as it pertains to loving more effectively, I might suggest things like the following; remembering their preferences and accommodating them, preparing for events they would care about like their birthdays or anniversaries, or just providing assistance without being asked where you know it would be helpful. These things are practice for awareness of others and excellent to seek out at all times.

If you hope to ascertain the beginning of the majesty of the Creator, you have to stretch your thinking substantially.

Consider this, the evolutionist believes that an explosion of indeterminate origin took place approximately 14 billion years ago, thus initiating the ever expanding observable universe as we know it. Vast expanses of time and near limitless chance interaction 'just so happened' to form what is known today as the human consciousness, magnetism, the precise distance of our familiar planetary bodies of day and night, the cycles of seasons and courses of winds, and the myriad varieties of life extant and extinct.

Is that some nonsense or what?

Lovers of science enjoy their statistics, their data and facts presented as figures and relatable numbers they can regurgitate as needed. They don't ask the questions that would pry beneath the surface revealing their laughable irrationality. With practice and dedication to honesty, the wisdom of Solomon and Sirach become accessible and their proverbs are discovered to be deeply meaningful and full of profound truths.

With the light of the Spirit, which I would express the experience of as a type of expanded perception, the elements of conversation in Scripture, from the words Jesus chose and how people responded to what the dynamics of the interactions indicate was taking place in the hearts of those involved, become accessible in that manner of "ah, I see now," but with vastly greater satisfaction for the eternal implications of these new understandings.

By training your ability to think and accumulating knowledge, you can manipulate ideas logically and rationally, using words and experience to consider webs of "if, then" statements while reaching for various logical conclusions, and by the power of the Spirit, these processes occur as lightning connects ground and sky.

This is my experience of the Spirit, what I thought I was doing and how I got here, to a place where I can speak and write sensibly and express His love consistently, albeit imperfectly. Having come from decades of trauma and turmoil, this is a very significant change for me, and I attribute all glory to the miraculous healing powers of Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised in a Christian home with my parents alive, well, and together still today. I had significant exposure to the church throughout my life. But I was plagued by an inexplicable agony that made no sense to me; why aren't His promises true?

I led a tumultuous life. By comparison with those whom I've personally associated so as to learn their stories, I seem to have had a unique set of experiences. Growing up, I stood out in as many ways bad as good. I did not blend well. I was too different for acceptance. I had tremendous sensitivity and immaturity, ripe for the teasing.

I have always been passionate and intense. Those who don't know me are put off by me, but those who know me closely are dear and loyal friends. Many of my memories are simply incredible, for having them at all, for what they are, for the things I have lived that no one would believe if I told them and for a host of different reasons.

I do not glorify myself! I have been driven by God Himself! Only He could compel a toddler to read a dictionary and bring joy to the same reader in middle age in the same manner! I take no credit for this manner of language He placed within me but it speaks to my purpose in Him. He has given me a perception that He took 40 years to prepare before uncovering my eyes to it.

And if I am to declare I am gifted, there is only one gift I declare, and that is the gift of His Spirit in the fullness of it I sought from my earliest memory of understanding of His promise of eternal life. I had nothing left in my desperate search for His proof, such that I abandoned Him completely, instead searching for my own answers. I asked questions like the following;

What is truth?
Where did we come from?
What do we know of the course of man through history?
What is virtue and why is it universally acceptable?
What is smaller than an atom?
What lies outside the boundaries of the universe?
What is magnetism?
Why does math work?
Where do we get words?
Why can't we know what happens after death?
Why do all living creatures follow patterns from their tissues to their behaviors?
Why are patterns so ubiquitous in life and on such grand scales and broad spectrums?

To the dead in spirit, these are confounding and impossible to answer questions. Without God, all logical conclusions eventually reach problem or paradox. All answers fail to satisfy with any meaningful proof or certainty. All foundations are resting upon some unknown factors and influences.

There is no bottom or top, no end in sight, no certain answer for the dead in spirit. It is a terrifying place to be. It inspires a terrific fear. It is a tragic fear. An unholy fear.

When I lost all fear of Him and determined to face whatever wrath lay ahead with grimacing hatred, while yet seeking the highest I could perceive, when I dug with every last ounce of my strength in search of the bottom of the earth, when I only awaited the emptying of another's hourglass to end it all myself, He answered me.

And my friends, He is REAL.

And one last example for those interested when I say incredible stories;

I have only ever broken one bone, and the fracture I incurred causes death by asphyxiation in 98% of cases. I severed the C2 bone of my spinal column, the axis atop which sits the atlas atop which swivels the skull, into fore and aft sections floating about my spinal cord. I did this upon impact with a tree in a 90's 'econobox' type vehicle.

I wore a halo brace for months. My neck was hilariously tiny from atrophy when the brace came off, I could not hold my head up but for seconds at first, and I could not look left or right without twisting my lower back to accommodate the rigidity of my recovering tissues. I hated myself for a long time and destroyed many pictures of myself over the years and I still do not like to be photographed, so I have no record of this but my recollections.

I've also climbed inside one of the Great Pyramids, been in the military, married twice, survived a sibling and a child, and stared death in the face repeatedly among other things. I do not jest when I say my life has been a wild ride.
