one of the greatest,if not the greatest achievement of science was the dematerialisation of matter - now there appears to be an urgent urge to put it together again via hidden matter, dark matter, anti matter and Higgs Boson etc - any comments - winc

It doesn't "matter" :)
(1Ti 6:20)
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
(1Ti 6:21)
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.
right......
Modernism is dead
Science is simply the observation, classification, and description of the natural world - no need to get all anti-intellectual about it.
imho - Modernism,as a heresy and the synthesis of all heresies is very much alive and now rampant - what is mostly being portrayed as science is pseudo science - winc
That's one reason why it doesn't 'matter', yes.
I see exactly differently as "that's one reason why it does matter" - twinc
