My husband came down with unusual symptoms while being hospitalized for depression. Since being released from the hospital, many blood tests have come up negative, but he still is suffering for three weeks now with a high fever, chills, muscle aches, and other symptoms. It's not the flu or a cold. He's been to the ER twice and they sent him home. Please pray the cause is quickly discovered and he heals. His illness has also taken a deep toll on the entire family with little sleep, etc. Update: the doctors think it might be terminal cancer. We find out today. Thank you for your prayers. Good news: The tests came back negative for the cancer the doctors thought he had; they were surprised. However, he continues to have symptoms. They did find some spots on his lung which they said could be from previous infections or my husband thinks it might be as the result of being exposed to asbestos. My husband is very irritable and bullheaded and his condition is tearing our family apart as he continues to treat his family poorly. Our teenage daughter wants to leave but has no place to go. It's easy to get stuck in your own world when something like this happens. I recognize others have it much worse and am praying for the other prayer requests on this forum. When you go through difficult times I find being grateful to God and praising Him even more important. May God's loving kindness be with you all.Sorry for not updating this sooner. The only thing doctors found was some fungi in his lungs. However, he still has symptoms. They think my husband might have caught an unusual virus in the hospital. His severe depression diagnosis have been changed to bi-polar and has other mental health issues. As a result of his physical and emotional problems, our family has been torn apart. Thank you to all who care. My heart goes out to all who have family members suffering from mental illness.
