I have a personal attachment to the Old Testament

As I see it, Jesus was not only preaching the bad things of old, he was also preaching redemption. One can be saved; just abide by His instructions, follow His commandments and peace will be your reward.

God’s Chosen People
I have a personal attachment to the Old Testament and the verses contained therein. This includes the verses where the Lord talked directly to the Israelite people. In this one-way discussion where the Lord laid out directives (commandments) for them to follow and the blessing they would get if they followed His suggestions. I took these directives and compared them to historical events (bible verses-&-1947-2019). Personally, I would like to see the Israeli people change their ways by embracing the stranger (Palestinian) and treat them as one of their own, just as the Lord instructed them to do. I truly believe this “example” would create a wave of peace across the middle east.

In closing I want the Israeli’s to embrace the Palestinians as one of their own, dismantle the illegal settlements and change the name of their country from “Israel” to “Palestine”.

I believe God is now judging them for the last time. If they do not ask God for forgiveness and repent for their past deeds; then all will be lost.

I need your help either by helping me or by correcting my misguided view of them.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome whether pro or con.

Romans 15:4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope".

Jesus was not only preaching the bad things of old

Jesus is God and he spoke and acted in the OT. There are no 'bad things ' that need preaching in the OT that art not equally preached in the NT.

The message in the OT is clear, love your God with all your being and your neighbour as your self.
The only difference is in the NT we actually have Jesus teaching this and redeeming us.

Never happen. And wouldn't work if it did. The Palestinians hate the Jews. They want the Jews destruction. They don't want to be a peace with the Jews.

Why do you think God had to kill them off when He gave the land to Israel. I love those Old Testament passages also.

Why do you think God had to kill them off

God did not kill anyone, He was the creator, not the destroyer
Sixth (6) commandment
6. Thou shalt not kill.

when He gave the land to Israel.

He gave the land to the Israelite's but there was a catch called commandments.
If you do this I will do this in return.
The Bible is full of; If you do this I will do that

I love those Old Testament passages also.

As do I :)-

Technically, the State of Israel and the Jews therein are not biblical Israel or biblical Jews. They became gentiles when Christ abolished circumcision on the cross. And after that generation died off, nothing remained to make them what they claim to be. The Only biblical Israel today is Jesus and the Jewish believers who accepted him in the first century, and us gentiles who as believers were grafted in.

The emphasis on the sixth commandment is murder, not just killing. God has killed plenty.

So, again, the Palestinian people will never accept any peace with the Jews. They hate them. This is why God had to kill, and destroy them when Israel first entered the land.

Israel is there to stay. And worse, in your eyes, the land of Israel will one day be considerably larger than it is today.

God never killed anyone, period but man (human race); has murdered countless for self serving reasons

So, again, the Palestinian people will never accept any peace with the Jews.

They aren't "Jews", they are Israeli's and as long as you and fellow haters feel this way you are right; there will never be peace; just the end of the Israeli people; for it is written--

(Ezek 36:17 KJV) Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their ..own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

(Ezek 36:18 KJV) Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it.

(Ezek 36:22 KJV) Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

(Ezek 36:24 KJV) For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

(Ezek 36:31 KJV) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

(Ezek 36:32 KJV) Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

(Ezek 21:24 KJV) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

(Ezek 21:25 KJV) And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

(Ezek 21:31 KJV) And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

(Ezek 21:32 KJV) Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

They hate them. This is why God had to kill, and destroy them when Israel first entered the land.

Now you have said it, "Israel first entered the land" which in your own words proves that the land they entered was not the Israeli's "homeland".

Israel is there to stay. And worse, in your eyes, the land of Israel will one day be considerably larger than it is today.

That one day will be in your lifetime when before your own eyes; you Stranger will see---

(Ezek 21:32 KJV) Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

Looks like you are obsessed with this idea. As you probably know, it will not happen. Also there will be a future Israel on earth according to the Old Testament.

not all who are born Israel are of Israel, and I for one will not be fooled by Zionists who also have access to the Bible, and the means to mount a deception that most believers would accept.
In closing I want the Israeli’s
so if I had any objection, it would be to you deeming them "Israelis" I guess. If they were Scriptural Israel, then the first thing they would need to do is rid themselves of any Ashkenazi blood, right, any non-Hebrew influence.

Israel Incorporated is strictly a vassal of the US, and the name was a convenient deception upon us imo

God killed everyone in the flood except Noah and his family.

God killed some three thousand at the rebellion of Israel wit the Golden Calf.

God killed many due to the unbelief of the 12 spies at Kadesh-barnea.

etc. etc. etc. Do you need more?

Until you get this right, anything else you say is worthless.

I see you got a like from fellow muslim bbyrd009. Not surprising.

And don't forget the all the firstborn of the Egyptians....God sent the angel of death to kill all the firstborn because of Pharaoh's rebellion to let His people go.

Indeed, the list could go on and on.
