I came to Christ at 14. Around age 24, I worried that I had ten years of walking with the Lord and not nearly enough to show for it.

But I see that Ive changed even in the ways I post on this forum. I asked God for wisdom and He gave it just like He promised.

I gave Him my vanity, lust, impatience, and immaturity. He's giving me self-control, humility, honor, and wisdom. May His name be praised forever!

Full on trade off, and don't we always get the better deal when we really give it all up to Him?
Simple but not at all easy. You are so much stronger than you think Winnie! (my new nick-name for you, unless you want me not to use it)

Thank you for sharing your journey! It’s truly inspiring to see how God has worked in your life over the years. Your testimony is a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness and transforming power.

As James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." It's encouraging to hear how God answered your prayer for wisdom. This shows that He is true to His promises and is always ready to equip us with what we need to grow in our faith.

Your transformation is a testament to 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." By surrendering your vanity, lust, impatience, and immaturity to God, you’ve allowed Him to work in your heart, replacing these with self-control, humility, honor, and wisdom. This is a beautiful example of the sanctification process, where we continually grow to be more like Christ.

Additionally, your experience echoes Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." It’s clear that God is faithful and will continue to perfect the work He has started in you.

May His name indeed be praised forever! Your story encourages all of us to trust in God’s transforming power and to continually seek His wisdom and guidance. Thank you for being a living testimony of His grace and faithfulness.

It is amazing isn't it?!!! I never knew that He does the work in us! I thought it was up to me. HA! He is so awesome- He digs deep into our souls and weeds out the rotten and fills us with Truth! Nothing else comes close.
I just need to keep reminding myself to stick very close to Him as He does to me! closer than a brother- amen!
Keep your eyes fixed!

You found him Early. I converted to Christianity in 1999.

Took many years of marring and water for God to mold me. Jeremiah chapter 18, Potter and Clay.

God spent 20 years on Jacob. Pouring water and molding. Modifications were made.

God works only with soft Clay.

Romans chapter 9

Vessels for destruction. Reprobates.

This is hard Clay. Its absolutely Deficient. Worthless.

I used to write to Jesus when I was 5 years old. My mother and dad got divorced. It had hard impact on me.

I drifted away from Jesus around 7 years old.

Is it any accident I converted to Christianity in 1999.

We're familiar with Acts chapter 2.

God would pour his Spirit out on both sons and daughters. Latter times.

Peace.
