I am so proud of what I have done with forming my faith. Forget all that nonsense about Ephesians 2:8 saying faith is a gift from God, I made it what it is, and I am proud of it and proud of myself.I am so proud of not being like all of the masses, who are ignorant of how to figure out the Bible. I am proud to be in a small minority, becasue it means I can always have something to "explain" to Christians about how they do not get it. My faith is so obvious to me, if they cannot understand it, it is their fault. I am much better than the masses.Shelli.

Shellidid you know repentance is a gift from God.and yet you claim that as your own.Your faith is a gift from God. Your life is a gift from GOd.Everything we do is a gift of God.The only thing that isn't a gift from God is sin. everything else from the people you know, your social security number, your college education, your favorite tv shirt, you stubbing your toe on a chair.everything is a gift from God, even if credit yourself for many things. Really they all belong to God.

Hi Shelli,Sorry I am no professional church talker nor am i a theologian. I just study the Word of God and try to be inspired. I try to apply the teachings in life to the best of my ability. If we begin thinking that we can accomplish things, we are in opposition to the scripture that clearly states that all things are of God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Even Jesus Christ said: John 5:30 Ican of mine own self do nothing.

What matters most is that the bread is cast upon waters and the coals are heaped on their heads, which simply mean that we witness what the Word speaks and the rest will be done by God.
