Hello,

Rev 16:12-16 tells us about the nations gathering at the place called Armageddon to be judged by God for the 2,300 years of trampling God's Sanctuary and His earthly Hosts by the Gentile nations. Paul also tells us that when the 2,300 years of the gentiles has run its full course to its completion that, after that time, all of Israel will be saved.

The Judgement of the Gentile nations at Armageddon also co-insides with the conclusion of the visitation of the iniquities of the fathers' worshipping idols during the first two ages of the existence of the nation of Israel, upon their children and their children's children during the third and the fourth age of the existence of Israel.

Isaiah 24-21-22 also tells us that the heavenly hosts, i.e. Satan and the fallen heavenly hosts, will also be judged in heaven as the kings of the earth are judged on the face of the earth at Armageddon. This passage also tells us that the judged heavenly hosts and the judged kings of the earth will be imprisoned for many days, i.e., for 1,000 years in the Bottomless pit, after which time they will be released for a little while period and Christ will capture the Beast and the False Prophet at this time and dispatch them into the Lake of fire. Shortly afterwards, Jesus captures Satan and he too will be sent into the lake of fire. It is at this time, at the end of the seventh age, after the 1,000 years of Satan being locked up in the Bottomless pit and Christ, and the Saints who have lost their heads before the start of the seventh age will minister as Priests in heaven during this 1,000-year period.

The second coming will occur after the Beast, the False prophet and Satan have been dispatched into the lake of fire, when Christ descends from the clouds with all of the Hosts of Heaven to begin the judgement of all of the people of the earth.

I hope this brief explained timeline of the seventh age helps with everybody's understanding.

Shalom

That's not what the bible says.

Rev 19 has Christ coming down from heaven with his heavenly army BEFORE the beast and FP are cast into the LOF and satan does not join them until much later. Your order of events are not scriptural.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

God’s Word also claims Jesus reigns for 1,000 years before creation is handed back. I take God’s Word over your imagined opinion.
The Bible says no such thing, a 1,000 year millennial kingdom on this earth is a fabricated fairy tale of man

The destruction of Babylon and Armageddon are two separate events in two different parts of the world.

It doesn't help because you're conflating the 2800 days of Dan 8 with the Battle of Armageddon. Dan 8 is a prophecy of Antiochus 4, which was fulfilled in ancient times. And Armageddon is a future battle between forces outside of Israel who invade Israel in some kind of climactic event through which God judges these forces. We are told that this battle is instigated by Antichrist.

I tend to agree. I believe Babylon is a cryptic reference to the city of Rome. Armageddon takes place in Israel.

I thought you used the clear NT Scripture to give interpretation to obscure OT Scriptures?

Now you claim we are to interpret the clear NT passage using obscure OT references?

LOL. Since when has Revelation been the clear. It is a symbolic and obscure book that needs to be interpreted in the light of the rest of Scripture. A thousand is used figuratively also in 2 Peter 3 and Rev 20.

I agree with you that the Little Horn in the OT and the False Prophet in the NT who in our near future will attempt to destroy the nation of Israel at the end of the 2,300-year prophecy in Daniel 8. Your claim that Antiochus 4, around 170-160 BC, fulfilled the Daniel 8 prophecy in full is a preterist fallacy that has come about through the influence of Satan and his beasts and the Little Horn in an attempt to undermine the span that the Daniel 8 prophecy occurs over.

If this prophecy was fulfilled around 160 BC, then, why did Christ make reference to the fulfilment of the time of the gentiles during his first advent? This is what is recorded in Luke: -

Luke 21:24: - And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
NKJV
The Times of the Gentiles is completed at the same time that the visitation of the iniquities of the fathers upon their children and their children's children in the third and the fourth ages has run its full course with respect to time as well.

Paul also said in Romans 11:25-26 that after the completion of the time of the Gentiles with respect to time is completed, that all of Israel will be saved.

It is at this time when the times of the Gentiles 2,300-years of trampling God's Sanctuary and His earthly Hosts has been completed, that God will judge the kings of the earth on the earth at Armageddon and the heavenly hosts in heaven and that they will be gathered together and imprisoned in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years to await the time of their punishment. We have the record in Daniel 7:11-12 of the heavenly hosts being judged and in the next two verses we are told that the Son of Man is given dominion over the peoples of the earth and his kingdom will be the everlasting Kingdom of God that will also be established at that time.

I would suggest that Christ exercises His dominion over the peoples of the earth from heaven during the last age and that at the end of that age He appears coming down out of heaven with all of the heavenly Hosts to judge the peoples of the earth.

Now if you are claiming that Christ's statement in Luke 21:24 is wrong and that the fulfilment of the times of the gentiles was not a future event with respect to the first advent of Christs, then you are suggesting that what Christ said, as recorded in Luke 21:24 is wrong and Satan has successfully put a stumbling block in your path to sway you in not fully believing the words of Christ. If Christ is wrong in this verse, can we be confident that right in the claims that He made with respect to our salvation.

During the 1,000 years that Satan and His beasts are locked up in the Bottomless pit, Christ brings about the great harvest of Souls, such that whoever believe in Him who God has sent will be saved from the Lake of Fire at the time of the great Judgement at the very end of the Seventh Age.

We really need to understand the timeline that God has put in place for the salvation of the peoples of the earth.

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9KJV

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Malachi 3:2KJV
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Psalm 50:3KJV

3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Zechariah 14:12KJV

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Nahum 1:5-6KJV

5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Revelation 20:9KJV
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Well, to Amil, Revelation would be an obscure book. It does not seem that difficult to understand what is figurative and what is not figurative.

You seem to argue that Revelation is obscure, and by that metric, you personally need even more obscure Scripture to make Revelation even more increasingly obscure.

The second coming brings a close to the day of salvation. Repeated Scripture shows that now is the only day of salvation. After showing us the destruction of this earth, the works that are in it, the heavens, the elements when Jesus comes, and after describing the longsuffering of God in the days of Noah before the destruction of all the wicked, Peter responds to the mockers scoffing at the apparent delay in Christ's return: “the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation” (2 Peter 3:15). See also Romans 2:4. He was reaffirming that salvation is limited to this side of the second coming. A sign of the end is that the Gospel must “be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14). The second coming brings the curtain down on the great commission. Once the ark door closes it is too late (Matthew 25:10-13, 28:19-20 and Act 3:19-21).

The age to come has no room for "mortals" (Luke 20:34-36, Romans 8:19-23, 1 Corinthians 15:50-55 and Revelation 21-22) or the unregenerate (Psalm 37:9-11, Luke 17:26-30, 1 Corinthians 6:9, I Thessalonians 5:2-3, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10). This would be a strong argument to me that the second coming is “the end.”

John 6:39-44, 54, John 11:21-27, John 12:48, Ephesians 1:10 and Revelation 10:5-7 would seem to suggest that time reaches its fullness at the climactic return of Christ. This would be a strong argument to me that the second coming is “the end.”

Luke 20:34-36, Acts 3:19-21, Romans 8:19-23, 1 Corinthians 15:50-55 ,1 Peter 1:3-5 and Revelation 21:1-5) all show that the end of the bondage of corruption occurs when Jesus comes. This would be a strong argument to me that the second coming is “the end.”

1 Corinthians 13:12, Ephesians 4:13 and Revelation 10:5-7 show that the curtain coming down on the mystery of God, thus confirming we are at the end of time and entering into eternity when all will finally be revealed. This would be a strong argument to me that the second coming is “the end.”

Repeated Scripture locates the replacement of the current heavens and earth with the new heavens and earth and incorruption at the second coming. Job 14:12-14, Isaiah 13:9-11, Isaiah 34:1-4, 8, Isaiah 65:17-21, Isaiah 66:22-24, Joel 2:3, Joel 2:10-11, Malachi 4:1-3, Matthew 24:29-30, Matthew 24:35-44, Mark 13:24-26, Luke 21:25-27, Romans 8:18-23, 1 Corinthians 15:23-24, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, 2 Peter 3:10-13, Hebrews 1:10-12, Revelation 6:13-17, Revelation 16:15-20, Revelation 19:11-16 and Revelation 20:11-15 shows us that this occurs at the second coming. This is indeed the end of time, the end of corruption, the end of the wicked, the end of sin, the end of death, the end for the devil. It is the beginning of eternity. It is the beginning of perfection. It is the beginning of incorruption. It is the beginning of a new arrangement.

It seems like whatever angle you examine the second coming it appears to be climactic, final and glorious.

Your quoted scriptures proves only that you can quote scripture in overload fashion.

In fact, you are agreeing with what I had posted, but you are saying it in a different fashion based on a very different understanding that if it is not said your way, it must be wrong.

I agree with you that the Little Horn in the OT and the False Prophet in the NT who in our near future will attempt to destroy the nation of Israel at the end of the 2,300-year prophecy in Daniel 8.
Jay, I didn't say that. I completely dismissed the idea of a 2300-year prophecy in Dan 8! I think that was fulfilled in the time of Antiochus 4 in the 2nd century BC.
I'm not a Preterist, either Partial or Full. I share with Preterists some beliefs, however. I agree with them that the bulk of the Olivet Discourse had to do with the Roman desolation of Jerusalem and the temple, as foretold in Dan 9.26. The Church Fathers largely agree with me. And they weren't Preterists--Preterism hadn't even been invented yet! ;) The belief that the AoD of the Olivet Discourse was fulfilled by the Roman Army is an example of an historically-fulfilled prophecy, just like the Virgin Birth prophecy was fulfilled historically.

Name-calling people falsely won't make any points with me, brother. You can label me properly, but otherwise you're at best misrepresenting what I believe.

If this prophecy was fulfilled around 160 BC, then, why did Christ make reference to the fulfilment of the time of the gentiles during his first advent? This is what is recorded in Luke: -
Dan 8 refers to Antiochus 4 and has nothing to do with what Christ made reference to.

I agree that national Israel will be politically saved as a nation and spiritually revived as a people, which will assure their determination to "never be destroyed again." The "times of the Gentiles" refers to the time when Israel is under punishment as a nation, which corresponds to the entire NT age.
Yes, we agree on all but the "2300 years."
I would suggest that Christ exercises His dominion over the peoples of the earth from heaven during the last age and that at the end of that age He appears coming down out of heaven with all of the heavenly Hosts to judge the peoples of the earth.
I can't disagree with this. I just tend to believe that Christ and his Church comes to earth at the end of this age just to establish his Kingdom on earth. Then I think we will rule from heaven until the end of the Millennium. But I don't know this.

No, I'm saying the the "times of the Gentiles" is the present NT age, leading to the return of Christ and to the liberation of Israel from her oppression and punishment.

Luke 21.24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Jesus had just described the fall of Jerusalem by the Romans and the succeeding period of exile from the land that Israel would experience. This is described by Jesus as a national "punishment." The punishment ends when the "times of the Gentiles" are finished, which refers to the time when pagan Gentiles participate in God's punishment of the Jewish People.

Shalom
I agree about the great harvest in the Millennial Period. I like how you characterize that! I don't use the "7 ages" classification system, but I do think we have a lot of common beliefs. Thanks.

The second coming brings a close to the day of salvation.
The only thing we are told, who live in the present age, is that we need to prepare now for the salvation to be revealed. Nothing about this suggests salvation stops at Christ's Return. A lot of people thought that when Christ initially appeared it would be the final salvation of Israel and the final judgment of the world. It wasn't true.

Neither is it true that mortal people will not continue to live past the 2nd Coming of Christ and get saved, while those who reject Christ will be judged. In fact, the Age to Come will be the greatest of mortal human ages, being that it sees the fulfillment of all of Abraham's promises.

Using "today is the day of salvation" as a prooftext for Amill is non-sequitur thinking.

Really, and you think that you are on the money with your understanding?

The lack of refutation of the content of my post gives strong evidence that I am.

I tend to agree. I believe Babylon is a cryptic reference to the city of Rome. Armageddon takes place in Israel.
I believe Mystery Babylon is America, regarding future prophecy today's Rome is irrelevant. There are several scriptures in Rev. 17 & 18 that only America fits the bill, so far.

You said it was an attack on Jerusalem in 70AD. Scripture states they attack the Lamb, and the Lamb destroys them.

Scripture doesn't say that in either of those verse I quoted in both of those chapters scripture actually says that babylon the great is destroyed

Explain why the minute Satan is loosed, many seemed deceived, and march for battle.

You have yet to explain why Armageddon allegedly happened 40 years after a 1,000 year binding started. Some Amil claim Armageddon was even the end of time.

Because a lot of the church conforms

I already explained that, Armageddon has nothing to do with the thousand years
