Australia has been told to stay home and avoid the celebrations of Muslims in the country ......A disarmed Australia has no second amendment.......Israel attacked ... Israel with no Second Amendment.

History tells us that Japan did not attack the west coast of America, because almost every house in America had a gun and Americans knew how to use them. Japan was not big enough to fight that war ......
The US has a Carrier Fleet arriving. Destroyers have arrived .....the sea is blocked and the gates into Gaza now padlocked.

Now get ready while Israel teaches the world what Rome taught them. Gaza is under siege ...The government is arming Israeli Citizens to increase their fighting capability ......I think Israel is fighting mad.

But you would rather be taken from your home, raped and murdered ......

Don't go downtown today ....The government has told you it's safer to stay home ...

@bluedragon

Please do not bring Australia into your political agenda on this forum.

Yes, Australia is being punished by God for acting God like with America by attempting to heal the Land of Babylon recently (Jer 50-51) and people in Australia are openly allowed to express their views on our streets in Australia.

Australia is on the verge of reproducing the outcome as described in the Book titled, "Animal Farm," where the elite are given more privileges than the other farm animal to lord it over them.

Australia is not the "Great South Land of the Holy Spirit," as was spoken by a Dutch explorer back in the 1600's, Australai is actually "the Great South Land of the Unholy Serpent Spirit," and this unholy spirit is attempting to subdue many who have been born in this place for the sins of past people who came to this land.

We will see what comes to the surface in Australia, this Saturday, our time, and whether or not those who are granted a new privilege, will dominate us with their new voice agendas.

References that the Australian Government actually said this?

Isn't that what fundamentalists want? to be the elites?

Are you free to own firearms as citizens of Australia?

Within Australia it is a privilege to be able to own guns. Anyone can get a gun on the black market but that does not mean that it is free to own or free to use in any way that I might want to.

Owning a gun has attached to it many obligations and responsibilities that if not complied with restricts a person ability to actually own a gun.

Remember that Freedom is a spiritual state of being where our freedom is gained by establishing a righteous working relationship with God.

If God is on your side, and you keep you accounts short with Him, then there is no need for a gun because of your total dependence on Him.

If your observation regarding guns and the Christian were a fact, how would the enormous number of unarmed dead Christians throughout history be explained?

They all did not die at the pointing end of a gun. Many would have died at the pointy end of a spear or sword or a tooth.

And those ancient people were without a weapon of self defense?

Per your prior observation promoting, how do you judge their deaths?

The real question is, "Are you prepared to take up your cross, and die so that God's Glory and power can be seen by those around you?

Perhaps your paradigm of what it means to be a Christian is flawed. Is not the kingdom victory gained by the Blood of the cross. Does not the blood of the Saints also gain victory over Satan.

Is it better to kill someone and send them to Hell or to die and be with Jesus?
If they're trying to take my life,my family members,or an Innocents,I'd rather send them to Hell as a public service that saved others from their homicidal nature.

If I let them send me to Heaven I've shirked that responsibility.

At the end, Israel, the Lord will fight for them, and during that time they are converted to Christ.
It does also read as if Israel will devour all the surrounding peoples, meaning in war.
God says even the most feeble will be like David, and the house of David like God, who is mighty in battle.
Zechariah, 12, 13, 14, all go into details of the end time events for Israel.

Example,
Zechariah 12
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.

7 “The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. 8 In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. 9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Mourning for the Pierced One

10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of [c]Megiddo. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

That's why God gave us "great and precious promises" like:

Acts 16: 31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you'll be saved, you and your family.

Guns are not the best solution.

In third world countries, where oppression and the cost of a life is cheap, the Christian faith is rapidly growing.

In the USA where the solution is seen to be the use of a gun, the faith that was once strong is disappearing. The "Christian" is becoming more reliant on themselves than on God. A gun allows a person to act more God like than they should.

Now the asking of questions of others, also means that the person asking those questions must also examine the ramifications of those questions as well.

In 2001 before I left, by myself, to go to Nepal, for a three-month period, I had to face this same question as to whether or not I was prepared to die for my faith if that was God's will for me while in Nepal. The year before, a Scandinavian pastor had been imprisoned in Nepal for promoting Christianity there. The uproar from the "Western Christian Religious people" that he should not be in jail, because he was a Christian, was very vocal and there was a concerted effort against the man who had laid the charges against the pastor to hobble him such that he could not present his evidence in the court to convict the pastor of the charge that he had brought. The case was thrown out of the court, but that pastor was banned from ever visiting Nepal again.

While this pastor was in prison in Nepal, a Newspaper was publishing his sermons every week back in his home country. His mission field was now back in his Scandinavian homeland. However, when he was released his ministry back home was curtailed and his weekly sermons were no longer published.

I think that I have complied with "the examination or observation of one's own mental and emotional processes" on this very topic.

The question that I had resolved 24 years ago is still my position today. If God requires me to die for my faith, what business is it of mine to go against His purposes for my life and oppose God in this matter.

Now asking questions does not mean that I am judging you. That was your own doing, and your response was . . . ? Well, what you posted.

Shalom

I remember the days that i had a semi-automatic and no one thought nothing of anyone having such at all. I just walked in and bought it with a carton of amo.
We once had the right to do as such, but we lost that right as well.
We have been conditioned to do as our masters peddle !
Sure the Government created the situation that we find now, they let drugs get out of control so as to create a moronic class of people that can not stand up right before God. and our Government let some moron shoot as many people as he could, they were not allowed to shoot him ! but he was free to shoot others in fact.
This was all set up so as to bring in such gun Laws. and yes i do support such in part only because we have to many people who are smashed out of their head on drugs in fact. but such morons still get guns and we have only increased the number of people who have been attacked, people are being attacked and shot all the time here nowadays, and the problem starts with the people who the government has created weak minded morons, that's what the school system conditions the children with. For they are indoctrinated but not truly educated to stand up and be all they can be ? but a product of Socialist slaves to the workings of the Anti-Christ in fact.

Weak minded people go out too shoot people, because they are gutless, the State has promoted weak minded people and they become slaves to a Socialist Government that owns you ! because such as they see that you are not worthy in fact to be a mature being but only seen as a child ? so it has to control you all. and that's why we see all of the stupid laws that have been created nowadays.

What is the answer that you want? In my above posts I have not said that you have to die to defend God. What I have said is that we must be prepared to die so that God's Glory can be seen through our willingness to put our faith in God on the line.

Reggie Belafonte is entitled to his understanding that we have rights, whereas my understanding is that we have certain privileges that allow us to do such things as drive a car, own a gun, operate a business, and even work for an employer. He wants to blame the "Government" for all of our perceived problems that we are experiencing today, whereas I would put the blame squarely upon the citizens of the country in question.

If my understanding of your original question, quoted below, is right, then I have answered your question.
Are you free to own firearms as citizens of Australia?
This is what Wikipedia states are the laws associated with the selling, trading and owning of guns in the USA.

To me this shows that USA citizens are not free to own guns but that they must comply with the "law" of the land to do so.

This is the same in Australia.

Major federal gun laws[edit]

Gun show, in the U.S.
Most federal gun laws are found in the following acts:[2][3]

Overview of current regulations[edit]

Fugitives, those convicted of a felony with a sentence exceeding 1 year, past or present, and those who were involuntarily admitted to a mental facility are prohibited from purchasing a firearm; unless rights restored. Forty-four states have a provision in their state constitutions similar to the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, which protects the right to keep and bear arms. The exceptions are California, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, and New York. In New York, however, the statutory civil rights laws contain a provision virtually identical to the Second Amendment.[4][5] Additionally, the U.S. Supreme Court held in McDonald v. Chicago (2010) that the protections of the Second Amendment to keep and bear arms for self-defense in one's home apply against state governments and their political subdivisions.[6] In New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen, the Supreme Court ruled that states could not require "proper cause" or a "special need" when issuing a license for concealed carry.[7]

I trust that the above extract from Wikipedia, helps to clarify how "free" people are to own guns.

People are not free to own guns so that they can go and kill someone with their firearm.

Shalom
