Does a person have the right to live off the land. Some of us have enjoyed hunting and fishing and we all know that requires a license from the government with a limit and other restrictions. I've heard people say the government is evil and they have a right to live off the land like when the Mayflower settlers first came to America.
I did some math and the population of the United States is 333,000,000 and the square kilometers is 9,840,000 square kilometers. That is 34 people per square kilometer. A kilometer is not a mile, it is less. That sounds less populated than the concentrations of a big city. But much of that land is un-inhabital mountains and other regions where man cannot build a dwelling. But as far as wildlife on land or fish in the sea that is not much wild game roaming area. Farming and cattle/chicken ranches support that population today.
To be honest a person as to share with others, and God supports his children sharing together to make sure everyone has their needs met. And that is what we learn from the last testament of the Christian church established by God thru his apostles in the new testament:
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
A person could certainly have his own farm if they own a piece of land.
