Fasting is an easy way to "put your money where your mouth is," and let God know your serious. I recommend abstaining from whatever worldly things you can for a while. Consult your doctor first if you have medical issues, and lighten it accordingly. Fasting need not always be abstaining from food and water; my first fast was a Juice one. Some research may be in order first, that is on you to do.

God will still do what he wants, he is in charge. But he will do something to make it obvious he answered, even if he doesn't give exactly what you ask for.

And the person above me is wrong.
    Have a nice day.

Your son is likely just claiming "Atheist" as a rejection of either that or you, and the parable of the Vineyard Owner with Two Sons should be considered there imo

I blame the collage my oldest son is attending for the his break down in belief. Because they teaching him, and manipulating their agenda with the courses they are there to teach. Because he see's them as much smarter than me, I'm the one who's wrong in he eyes.

Yes They are very good people, but to join, you must make that oath to God, and I have read what happens to the people in the Bible who broke their oath. I just want to do right by him, and be in a place that Follows him according to the word. I truly don't believe it tells us anywhere that it's against God's will to drink, or participate in the distribution of alcohol. It do know it says to stay sober minded, to be always ready, or another part says if you must, have you not houses to stay in, John I believe.. Paraphrasing of course, but I could find them if you need me to, and quote it verbatim. I actually had one man, and he was the closest person to me in that church, tell me that use leads to abuse. Maybe so, But I still enjoy a drink or two responsibly, and make a decent living. Am I wrong in this thinking?

Oh @KLeft, I know how that can be...the only time I seem to have any real joy is when I lead people to Christ through the gospel message. So now I ask God to send me on exploits for him, to help me to be available when he wants me to speak to others around me when the opportunity arises and to use me for his kingdom and glory. It's been awesome! xox
