I've surprised people and they exclaim 'Oh my God!'
This is what I'm saying, this kind of speech is our culture. Hebrew culture, and in particular in something like this, was VERY different.

Hey Thomas, It's ME, Jesus! OMG!!!

Much love!

When was that?

Much love!

Does it matter? You equate someone saying "Oh my God" with Jesus saying his father is the one true God.

To anyone who reads this post below.

Hello you,

When it comes to baptism,

None of that bothers me personally. Believe people can be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost; in the name of Jesus; of the Father, they can be sprinkled with water, and have anyone they desire to dunk them into water.

There is something wonderful for professing believers to experience when they are committing their life in to devotion of desiring to worship God, and live by the spirit, in thankfulness for the Victory of the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God.

That is my view on the baptism; If you read the bible you can see the one who really does the baptism is Jesus Christ Himself - I believe considering what the text says when John the Baptist stated 'The one to come will baptize you in the holy spirit, and fire'

Thank you for taking time to read, friend.
The name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost is part of the baptismal formula at the end of Matthew 28, in the Great Commission.

Hello Farouk

Like was said before: Farouk have no problem with how people do it (When it comes to being physically baptized.

What matters is the heart change that seeks towards God which is done when a person believes and starts seeking out God; by testing all things according to the scriptures and it is said by John the Baptist that the one who baptizes is the 'Jesus who baptizes us in the holy spirit and fire'.

Which means when a believer is baptized by Jesus ~ they are given the holy spirit by and through God because of Jesus ~ And the fire means the old lifestyle they once lived is burned up to the extent of being conformed to the image of Christ, in my best estimation of the scriptures.

Thank you for taking time to share that the baptism of the Father, and Son, and of the holy ghost is part of the baptism because would agree with you there.
