Destroying farms and food production, to the WEF and European governments is a good thing. I have read half the world will starve if the farmers are forced to use non productive farming practices, such as no fertilizer use and destroying herds.

The global climate sect is gearing up its war on food, with 13 countries – including many major livestock and food-producing states led by the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Spain – committing to place farmers under new restrictions intended to reduce methane gas emissions, writes Leo Hohmann .
The Global Methane Hub announced in a May 17 press release that agriculture and environment ministers and ambassadors from 13 countries, including the United States, have signed a commitment pledging to reduce methane emissions from agriculture. The US was represented by Biden's climate czar, John Kerry.What does this mean and why should you care? We explain.
According to the press release issued by these countries and posted on Global Methane Hub :
"Last month (in April 2023), the Global Methane Hub worked with the Ministries of Agriculture of Chile and Spain to convene the first-ever global ministerial meeting on agricultural practices to reduce methane emissions. The ministerial meeting brought together senior government members to share global perspectives on methane reduction and low-emission food systems. The meeting led to a statement in which nations committed to supporting efforts to support the quality, quantity of, and access to, funding for climate change adaptation and mitigation measures in the agriculture and food sectors and to work together on efforts aimed at reducing methane emissions. in agriculture and food systems."
Conference participants included the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Climate & Clean Air Coalition, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
The World Bank, another creation of the US-led liberal, rules-based post-World War II order, has been talking a lot lately, along with the UN, about a coming famine. Last week, on May 22, the World Bank issued a white paper entitled Food Security Update: World Bank Response to Rising Food Insecurity .
The director of the United Nations World Food Program also issued dire warnings of a coming global famine from September last year .
I therefore find it curious that, at a time when the globalists are warning of food shortages and famine, their mouthpieces at the World Bank, the UN and within the governments of the US and its allies (note that China and Russia are nowhere to be seen in these ludicrous anti-food policies), talk about shifting to a new and unproven form of "sustainable" agriculture that focuses more on reducing methane than producing the highest food yields.

John Kerry is also very enthusiastic about taking valuable productive farmland offline, reducing livestock numbers and handing our food production systems over to technocrats and globalists who make vague promises of "new technologies."
According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US is busy reducing methane emissions not only in America but globally, stating on its website : "The United States provides key leadership, funding and technical expertise for international efforts to reduce methane emissions, resulting in more than 1,140 methane mitigation projects through GMI as of 2021." No, Ireland is not calling for the slaughtering of 200,000 cows. Maybe a twitter feed isn't really a good source of factual information.

cull 200,000 cows means slaughter them, they will be sold for meat of course. The goal is fewer cows, which means of course less milk products and meat to sell in the future. So prices must necessarily rise, less meat and milk products to go around. If your poor, the WEF has you covered, you will eat bugs, I suppose the rich globalists may always have whatever food they desire to eat.
A lot of media around this issue is viewing it negatively and sure the farms will not roll over and go along willingly. But as you can read, the government policies of western countries are determined to put animal husbandry farm practices on the slaughter block and feed you bugs.

The Irish government is claiming that this is only one "modeling" option that they are considering. That is not really true. Like all governments, they lie to the public so that there is no organized opposition.
"Climate Change" is being used as an excuse to destroy farms, ranches, the oil and gas industry, and ancillary industries along with millions of lives in the Western world. What Western "experts" will never tell you is that China, India, Russia, Africa, and South America are not supporting all the panic over "climate change". China is building more new coal plants than the rest of the world. And China is now the only superpower in the world.

Of course, that's true, and it's been going on forever. They (the modern god-men) are quite open about their goals and agenda. In much the same way as Ireland would like to deal with the cows, these folks want to do with people. They call it overpopulation, which is nonsense- it's a big planet. So they kill and cull populations using tools like Planned Parenthood and mass indoctrination to convince people it is better to abort babies than have children and raise families.... our God-given purpose.... to be fruitful and multiply.
Their latest effort to depopulate is through mass sterilization/vaccination efforts. Many countries are already seeing negative population counts year over year, because of declining birth rates versus the increasing death rates, primarily COVID related whether sickness or the jabs. They are achieving their goals mostly because people, like sheep led to the slaughter, go willingly along with all their careful designs.

The Irish department of Agriculture indicates that they are looking to reduce the number of cattle in the country by 7% to meet greenhouse gasses emissions standards. The DoA also notes that over 90% of beef and diary produced in Ireland is exported.
