Is Hell a place of torment?

So @Big Boy Johnson, what scriptural evidence do you have to support your the above comment?

Everyone who is in Hell........who went there today..........and will go there tomorrow.........now realize 2 things.

1.) Hell is real.

2.) Once you are in Hell, you now know that Jesus is REAL.... and you KNOW you are Damaned, and there is no way out of it. You dont get a 2nd chance..

See that Torture.,????? = MENTAL Torture.... and that is before you end up in the Lake of Fire.

I believe our traditional understanding of Hell was a later invention in the second century.

As a Jew and the Messiah Jesus would have taught about Sheol.

Kinda odd my friend , seeing JESUS spoke of such a place
with eternal torments after one dies . lazarous and the rich man . And HE sure did say it
well before the second century too .
There can be a slight bit of confusion which can easily be cleared up .
In the bible hell is used interchangeably at times .
As could temptation with trials .
Hell itself is death , but the hell JESUS spoke of is an eternal place of torment , aka lake of fire .
The place all the dead when raised , who had denied JESUS , will face that place .

Yes it is that . but in the english they also used the word hell at times
to describe the everlasting torment place .
As james even used the word temptation twice . once in the context of being tempted
the other by trials . sometimes people make the mistake
when reading that GOD tempted abraham
then reading james where he says GOD tempts no man . IN the case of james he was speaking of temptations and lusts
Not trials .
Because GOD does give and allow trials upon man as HE did with abraham too .
But a trial is not the same thing at all .
A temptation would be if abraham had been led up to the moutain
with a promise of recieving twenty virgins and naked women etc
BUT HIS was A TRIAL . something the flesh DOES NOT like .
Same with the interchanging use of the word hell . Often it was used to describe exactly WHAT YOU JUST WROTE
but at other times , AS EVEN JESUS spoke it was used to describe a place of torment .

So the fire thing is waiting to torment those going to hell immediately upon arrival.

its really very simple .the ones that fear the grave/hell are the living persons . you don't want to go there you dont want your life to end .

'them', yes are adversaries or enemies of the gospel. They will all be killed when Christ returns, if they live that long.
Such ones persecute and give tribulation to Christian believers.

Jesus said many things in parables .
Still dont negate the fact such a place DOES exist . Heck its spoken of
more than once . The more this generation tries to sugar coat the severity of GOD
the more it has led this people TO THE WRONG god baby . satan sits king over many hearts now
and i know he has the hearts of the world , i speak of christendom friend .
Many love his version of what he calleth god and he says is love and loving . MANY will wail as never before
in the lake of fire .
I SUGGEST we open bibles and learn for ourselves . VERY fast too .
