Looks like Trump is sending B-2 bombers with two 30k bunker busters to destroy Iran 's nuclear facility after all; since Israel was not capable of destroying a facility which is likely over 250 ft beneath the surface. Which is why the alert was given to evaculate Tehran ... nuclear fallout. I guess Fordow is the target, 100 mi. south of Tehran. Now we are at war too.

So, the US is now at war with Iran.

President Reagan told the navy to destroy Iran's navy and also shoot a missile into Momar Gaddafi's mansion. President Clinton assisted Serbia in the Croatian war. The list is long.

I can see that if the US was attacked.
That's not the case.

Representatives of the people need to vote and follow the majority vote.

It's dangerous to let one person decide to go to war.

Not yet, but it looks likely. Once our bombs are dropped from our planes _ by our military, then it would be considered by them an act of war. But it's not really waging war on a whole country, it's just destroying a nuclear facility or more. I would have preferred that the Israelis were trained to fly our B-2 and give them the bombs - let them do it.
Yeah, I thought a full on war had to go through Congress - unless we are attacked, then we must respond quickly, no time to gather a session and vote on it.
A war against Iran would be targeting not only nuclear sites but military sites AND PEOPLE. It would be devastating for them. If they used nukes against us, they will be toast.
Israel is at war and we are their allies, so we are assisting so far.

I'm not fooled; you are. The Korean war was not declared by congress. It was a police action by President Truman at the time. If a Nato country is attacked, the President, not congress, decides militarily. The list is long.

When Iran says they will attack the US.

They don''t mean the Continental US. They refer to the many bases in their neighborhood. Iran has nothing to reach us at this time.

For all the supposed hypersonic warheads they are supposed to have .......Iran is doing a pretty poor job of penetrating the Iron Dome. Big deal, get one through while everyone is in the bomb shelter and no one is home.

Anyone thinking Trump and his administration are not involved in this attack by Israel on Iran is dreaming.

Israel would never have started this war without 100% approval by the US.
