For me, it's the Child's Play movies. The idea of a killer doll pretending to be just a doll is too good. I think Bride of Chucky is my favorite of the bunch because it's quite funny. But the first one is genuinely scary, so it's a bit of a toss up. :confused

Some other good ones:

1. The Descent
2. Thirteen Ghosts
3. Freddy vs. Jason
4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
5. The Thing (original)
6. The Fly
7. The Others (psychological horror)
8. The Sixth Sense
9. Jason X (my fav Jason film)
10. Ghost (a tragic love story that's also scary)
11. Event Horizon (cult classic)
12. The Adam's Family (1991)

Christians are not to partake of evil sights and sounds of this world. This becomes an open door, through which evil spirits, by witchcraft and the occult workings gain access to your home and children.

Children of the light should be exposing such things, not partaking of them.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:8-11

Straight from a witch and her website:

Welcome to the Magic of October

October is the witch’s month, a time when the veil between worlds thins and the whispers of ancestors and spirits grow stronger. The air is crisp, leaves blaze in fiery hues before drifting to the earth, and the scent of woodsmoke and spices fills the air. It is a month of transition—where summer’s last warmth fades into the deep mysteries of autumn, inviting introspection, shadow work, and spiritual connection.

Samhain, (Halloween) the most sacred sabbat for many witches, arrives at the end of the month, marking the witch’s new year and a time for honoring the dead. Astrologically, Libra season brings balance and reflection, while Scorpio’s intensity calls us to embrace transformation and rebirth. This is a month of magic, mystery, and deep spiritual work.

To the Christians posting here, remember this is the non-Christian section of the forum. If you don't like scary movies, that's cool. But understand that some of us do.

So I think the movie about the second coming of Jesus Christ killing a lot of people is horrible. :jest:

Gospel Of John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I have to say, it's disturbing that you express your amusement with that particular emoticon.

Especially when there's no link to such a movie that you find uproariously funny.

Because I was the only one of billions of people who witnessed Jesus' return. Jesus didn't kill those people. Only humans killed each other.

Let me get this straight.
In a thread about horror movies you're saying you witnessed the actual second coming of Jesus and people killing each other?
And that was uproariously funny

Yeah, those were good.
The sequencing of events was clever and I think is what riveted the audience so to lead into all those sequels.

It's sad that Tony Todd has passed away. If there are any future installments they won't be the same without his William Bloodworth character.

This is his final scene in Final Destination Bloodlines.
He went off script and gave his last goodbye to his fans.

God rest him in his peace.
