This story has not even been proven to be true…..and yet here you are doubling down, just so that you can appear to have a case against an alleged JW doctor in Nigeria, whom you know nothing about….now it spreads to pedophiles who supposedly exist in our ranks……can you tell me what organization on earth is free of these predators? Would you like to go after the Catholic Church or any other church…or even the Boy Scouts? They are very good at hiding what they are.

The other problem with this very emotive subject is providing proof in a legal setting. These crimes have no eye witnesses. Thankfully the law now provides more protection for the children concerned, but in times past the law was brutal for the victims who had to face their abusers in court and be taken apart by determined defense lawyers, intent on getting their clients off the hook. Judges were mainly men and sex crimes were not seen as important in those days. The victims were more traumatized by the judicial process than the actual crime. Today we have a very strong policy on these things.

Do you understand that no one who repents, and serves their time, continues to be guilty unless they reoffend? Are we the judge of what is in their hearts? Isn’t it a good thing to make sure that these ones are known to the elders, and that someone is keeping an eye on them in the congregation without drawing attention to their former course? Would you like to wear a sign around your neck for something you did in the past and paid for under the law? You act as if every pedophile should be punished forever…..like they can never be forgiven or change their ways…..they can repent too and undergo therapy. How about you examine your own heart and ask why Jesus should be the judge of these people and not you or me?

Just one question, what's the official JW stance, is a JW MD allowed to give blood transfusions? I mean there is a big difference between giving one and taking one.

In the case of the “alleged” woman who died after a CS, in a Nigerian clinic, massive hemorrhage is not uncommon following such a procedure, and in a poor country like Nigeria, resources are not as readily available as they would be in a first world country, yet the statistics are still high even in those countries, which proves that blood transfusions don’t always save lives…..women die even after many units of blood because they can’t stop the bleeding.

No one knows the truth of the details of this “alleged” story, so this thread is nothing more than an anti-JW witch hunt promoted by people who are keen to spread what amounts to malicious gossip.
