Chapter 15;
Jeremiah records God's response to the previous confession by the people, stating God's unrelenting decision to punish. The prophet shares his own feelings of despair, to which God offers a measure of assurance that Jeremiah will be will in the coming turmoil (v11). Jeremiah responds with quiet words of faith, expressing his delight in God's word (Torah?). God again reassures His prophet that the Lord will be with in the difficulties that will surely follow. God rarely promises that we will be spared hardship; rather, He promises to be with us in it.
