Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

There's your ERROR above I put in 'red'.

David's throne is NOT in Heaven on the right hand of The Father's Throne.

Your preacher has told you a lie, and you bought it.
So you think that Jesus was trying to sit on David's physical throne which had been destroyed more than 500 years previously.

Was He successful?

Please let us know.

From Scripture.

AND Christ will remain seated there till all His enemies are under His feet.
Sure.

He is not departing to rule on an earthly throne, before the resurrection of the just and the unjust and the destruction of DEATH. Since DEATH is not destroyed until being cast into the eternal lake of fire, Christ is not departing from the Father's side to rule 1000 years on an earthly throne before the New Earth and New Heavens which comes after the final judgment
Right.

Grace and peace!

Now, now, now... you didn't finish what I said...
I did, actually.

I said: "And I say, those who think David's throne which Christ is to inherit is just a figure of speech ...
I know what you said. Nobody here is saying it's just a figure of speech. Nobody.

So no, I am not mischaracterizing anything.
You don't think you are. Yeah, I get it. I'm not saying you're lying about any thing or any one, Davy. But... in your own words... you say there are some here "who think David's throne which Christ is to inherit is just a figure of speech," and that's not true... ergo... a mischaracterization.

Grace and peace to you.

Sure.

Right.

Grace and peace!
If people were honest about this, they would agree with what God is saying.
So why don't they?

Jesus warned us of false Christs to come who would deceive many people.
The deception grows as the Last Day grows closer.
And many are deceived, as it is written.

Then you have deceivers deceiving and being deceived. It is a mess of doctrine.

That throne was destroyed more than two millennia ago, and there is not the slightest hint in any Scripture that it will be rebuilt.

David's throne (where Christ now sits) was never a literal chair, but a position of power, authority and preeminence over Israel.

Yeah, again, He's not making new things, Scott, He's making all things new.

Precisely!

Creation is one thing.
Making is another thing.

Creation was FINISHED from the beginning.
MAKING of Gods Creations Continues Until it is Done.

Glory to God,

I don't think they are being dishonest. I've said this many times, but to be lying, one has to know the actual truth and then knowingly make that truth into an untruth. If they think they are telling the truth about something, then they are not actually lying but just... wrong. <smile>

So why don't they?
I think we know the answer to that question. "The heart is deceitful above all things. Who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 17:9)

...many are deceived...
Yes.

Grace and peace to you.

Exactly! Premillennialists have no answer to the truth.

Sure they do…
Your anti-premil view simply rejects sound doctrine, scroll, skip, ignore, pause, toss out some accusations, snarky remarks, gaslight, and or demand text proofs in your words.

More avoidance! That is all you have.

No.

including the resurrection of the dead?

No.

Or is it 1000 years later?

Yes.

The Truth.
If only you abode in the truth.
You are making up stuff.

2 Timothy 4 says the judgment of both the living and the dead is at His appearing and kingdom.

Read it again.
And go ahead and explain how Paul is in error.
And notice Paul exposes how people will distort the truth about this.

1 I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Yes.

Grace and peace to you.
Honest as in honestly looked at what God says versus their own indoctrination in the dispensational cult.

If only you abode in the truth.
You are making up stuff.

There are many judgements…
You are uninformed and think anyone not equal with your uninformed view is lying.

2 Timothy 4 says the judgment of both the living and the dead is at His appearing and kingdom.

There is a Judgement at… His APPEARING…
Yet He has Not Returned to Earth…
And the Books have not been opened…

You seem to Not know the difference between APPEAR and RETURN to Earth.

Read it again.
And go ahead and explain how Paul is in error.

No need for me to re-read.
Paul is not in error, you are.

Men are Godly judged routinely throughout their lives…
Bless or not
Gift or not
Reward or not
Save or not Quicken or not
Their works service glorifying God
Their charity.

The White Throne Judgement is:
With Jesus ON Earth
After the 1,000 yr reign
After all Nations come Against The Lords Kingdom.
After Devils are Cast permanently to the LOF

And notice Paul exposes how people will distort the truth about this.

Sure, I see that in you.

1 I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:

Judgements…
Yep. At His Appearing.
Yep. When His Kingdom is surrounded.
Neither of those are the White Throne Judgement… when ALL stand before Him and the Books ARE Opened .

Then is JUDGE…MENT.

Appearing is all about the coming of Christ, not 1000 years later on.
Basically when Christ shows up, either the first or second time.
Suddenly He appears. Then things happen on that Day.

1 Timothy 6:13-15
New King James Version
13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only [a]Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Colossians 3
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

2 Timothy 1:9-11
New King James Version
9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher [a]of the Gentiles.

Titus 2:12-14
New King James Version
12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Titus 3:3-5
New King James Version
3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Hebrews 9

23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be [j]purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are [k]copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— 26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

1 Peter 5:3-5
New King James Version
3 nor as being [a]lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

1 John 2:28
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

2 Timothy 4
New King James Version

I charge you [a]therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word!

Paul’s Valedictory
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Appearing is all about the coming of Christ, not 1000 years later on.

Your point?
Appearing … is when “Christ” is Seen?

Basically when Christ shows up, either the first or second time.

Your point?
Appearing … is Anytime when human men “SEE” “Christ” ?

Suddenly He appears. Then things happen on that Day.

Your Point?
End times “Christ” shows Himself suddenly, and THAT DAY things Happen?

Are you willing to discuss?

Side Question…to help understand your perspective.
When “YOU SEE” Donald Trump … WHO do “YOU SEE”?

Thanks.

What!
So you disagree with what Jesus teaches then.
My answer based ONLY on scripture and Not on any personal interpretations or commentary can be found here below. I posted it also in a new thread, I just finished and formatted the text;
