[John 7:1-3 KJV] 1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him. 2 Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand. 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
Here in John, we have been given a clear difference between Jesus's sibling brothers and his disciples.
In verse 3 above, his brothers told Jesus to go into Judea so his disciples also may see his works. His brothers in saying "thy disciples" excluded themselves from being disciples.
[John 7:5 KJV] 5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.
His brethren could not be disciples because disciples believe on Jesus; his brethren were his sibling brothers.
